Ratings and Reviews
Sometimes this app will not set the alarm when asked. Usually it will just set it in a few hours, but not always. It may or may not notify me when it does. Last night I tried to set the alarm in Partition 2 at 10 pm using the app. It actually set itself at 9:41 this morning - after we were up and around and after we had turned off the alarms. Partition 2 is in the detached garage but the alarm only goes off in the house so we did not hear it and repeatly tripped the sensors. I will never use this app again.
UPDATE: I want to apologize for taking so long to provide this update. I changed the rating from 1 star to 3. As it turns out, most of the problems we were having related to decreased cell phone reception. Our alarm company was able to move our antenna to fix it. HOWEVER, we still believe that on the day the alarm armed itself AFTER we had disarmed it was a problem with the app. We gave the arming command at around 10 pm, although it never actually armed itself. We disarmed it at around
7 am the next day - then the alarm armed itself at 9:45 am that day, based on the command from the previous night but nearly 2 hours after the disarm command.

The Alarm Guys
I had a Vivint alarm system that drove me nuts for 5 months. Had to call them 14 times for service and out of 14 they only came out 6 of them. The other 8 had a 4 hour window that I sat at home, lost money because I wasn’t at work, And They Never Showed Up!!!! And They Never Called. They were Terrible. I found The Alarm Guys and had them come out. What a difference a hard working service company makes. They were here in the morning and finished the job in one day. The techs had a issue with my door bell cam and next thing I knew the owner and his brother were at my house and resolved the issue. Where else do you get that kind of loyalty and commitment. I can answer that, No where!!, never!!. They run their company hands on. So I very highly recommend The Alarm Guys to anyone wanting a very good alarm and camera system.
They are the best.
Issues with app.
For starters, when the tech hung the system up.. he hung our screen crooked.
None of my front door bell camera videos ever get saved for later review. We didn’t change any settings on the app and they all used to get saved, I also used to be able to see who rings my front door bell on my phone, it would randomly ring and I could answer and it no longer does that either. We had a questionable individual come to our door and have absolutely no record of it. We’re locked into a contract but will definitely be looking at other systems when we’re closer to the end... it’s too expensive for what it is and I’ve talked to multiple people who have different systems with many more perks for less. We have a door bell camera (that works off and on), and 3 sensors letting us no if a door is opened and they trigger the alarm system..for $80 a month. My sister has a system with many more cameras and sensors for about half the cost.
