Thanks for your feedback on the new iPhone app design! We’ve added a couple of new features based on your suggestions, and will continue to incorporate your feedback as we work on future updates to the app. This update includes changes to the iPhone app, as well as a few iOS 8 compatibility fixes for iPad.
•Support for Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint reader – now it’s even easier to log into the app quickly and securely
•Security card now includes expandable list of open/active sensors (for accounts that include sensor activity monitoring)
•Manage dashboard cards – now you can re-order and hide cards from the Home dashboard screen by clicking on the settings icon next to “Home” in the slide-in navigation menu
•iOS 8 compatibility fixes
•Other minor fixes/enhancements
So far so good but...
Love this app so I can control my alarm and check my cameras. So far so good. However, I think there DEF SHOULD BE a button for panic just in case! Say I forget to set alarm or don't arm at night and check my camera and see someone trying enter.. We should def have the ability to trigger a panic from the iPhone etc which I think would be an excellent feature. Also option for camera ie: multiple camera views from one page like on your computer should be ADDED so if you have 3,4,5 cameras you can monitor from smart phone and then also be able to choose one view too like we can now! Do that I will rate 5 stars. Panic button from smart phone I think is Must!!! !
Well after using this app for a while I can say that I do like the company the app works well but the biggest disappointment is the cameras. I have to and they work randomly. It's very frustrating esp being that they do cost a fair amount it's hit or miss when they are working from smart phone. Most times I wait and wait and than it just says unable to connect.... My wifi signal is good and in the room below so it's def NOT too far away and cameras are side by side and again disappointed in the reliability of them. That's what kept me from ouch adding more.
Prior version was ok but...
Prior version was working good and stable, minimal bugs but was ok, but the new version no matter if you choose to keep logged in, very frequent ask you for the login to enter, in prior version never happened that and is a problem if you have a lot of devices and family don't remember if you use complex password or if you are in an emergency driving to enter the password is a nightmare and if you don't remember the password or you can't enter then you can't disarm your home or check your home. Imagine in an emergency that. Please make like before not ask password like a crazy. There are some minor other bugs but you can live with them in general is ok but please fix that issue of ask password like a crazy. And like other users say could be great if via iPhone is added a panic alarm feature.
Good App, But needs 'panic' button
I love being able to arm and disarm remotely. The first day i had my system i forgot to arm before leaving the house. After i drove away i remembered and was able to arm without having to return home. The alerts are a great feature.
I imagine there could be scenarios where i need to hit the panic button in my home but might not be near the console. A panic button on the phone would solve for this... Although in an emergency i think my first call would still be 911!
