This game plays as cartoonish as its graphics. The opening scene is so long that you want to just stop right then. Then moving from one scene to another is like walking through wet sand! This game might (and I really mean MIGHT) be fun for children under 6 years old. A child any older will look at you, all exasperated, asking "Really, Ma?" The puzzles are just plain stupid! I wouldn't play this game if it was free, much less pay $4.99. I don't know what's up with Big Fish Games and Alawar Games recently. I'm a dedicated Hidden Object game player, owning just about every game in this genre released by these two developers. But for the last two weeks we've been given either crappy games like this one or games that I bought 6 months to a year ago, now claiming to be recently released and brand new. That's just fraudulent. Big Fish will start losing its loyal customers like me if it doesn't heed these bad reviews.
I just finished the game and I really enjoyed it. It has a good storyline and great graphics with zoom capability. The one small annoyance is that it takes a little time to load each new scene but it's a minor one. It's not a particularly difficult game but I consider it a plus that I don't have to go back and forth and get frustrated trying to find obscure clues. It's pure hidden object enjoyment. I see that some people have had crashes but I never had this problem. Crashes are usually taken care of by restarting your device.
I grabbed this when there was some .99 sale and it was waiting in a pile for me to get to. Wow, this is cutesy without much substance. After coming off of the amazing Phantom of the Opera, intriguing Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood, the stunning Drawn 3, the fun Venice, and clever The Yellow Room, this really comes across as sub-par. I don't know how I'm going to get though these slloooooooow loading scenes without going crazy. And the corny dialogue! No voice overs, little movement by the characters and background music someone recorded on a Casio. So for .99 sure, it might be good for a kid. It's just ok. Don't pay more than a buck and only buy it if you're desperate for something new and there's nothing else to buy. Try one of the above games I mentioned instead.
