Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Until a couple of decades ago, IBS had only ever been treated with conventional medicine. Then in the early nineteen eighties, psychology based trials were introduced, including hypnotherapy, on the premise that the problem, although not psychological in origin, could be reached through the mind.

For IBS suffers this was the breakthrough.  Whereas before, in conventional clinical trials, results had hardly bettered the law of averages, with hypnotherapy, significant, immediate and consistent improvements in the condition of more than eighty percent of participants became the norm.

And because of the nature and application of hypnosis, involving no drugs or surgery where only the patients own will was utilised (hypnosis being essentially self hypnosis) it was also completely safe and convenient.  Now with internet technical advances allowing personal individual downloads, it has become even more cheaper and convenient - a truly 21st Century answer to an age old problem!

Mr Mackinnon, a long-time clinical hypnotherapist, realised that rapid developments on the internet had made it possible for the dissemination of safe and effective hypnotherapy via this new medium.

These treatments are played as audio through the iCan hypnosis App and absorbed at the client's convenience - they can be repeated as often as required.

IBS is particularly susceptible to hypnotherapy - and these sessions, complete in themselves, are structured to achieve the best results. Beginning with a preparation to provide the most receptive circumstances (which also includes a full explanation of the methods and the implicit security of the process), it goes on to include suggestions for timing of repeat sessions to be sure you get the most out of it.

This is then followed by the careful build up of the hypnotherapy process, cumulating in the core hypnotherapy session to attack and cure the particular problem - and then afterwards a careful winding down to bring you back to everyday life...simple, seamless and safe..!

Terrible Ripoff

This is a copy of his other iCan app, same introduction, same induction, then just a few minutes of general talk about IBS (nothing meaningful). Really lazy from the author. Stay away.

I was skeptical at first, but felt soooo much better after the first time! I've been dealing with this stomach pain for almost 6 years and ERs and doctors have misdiagnosed me many, many times. One GI said it could possibly be IBS...but not a firm dx. Was in sooo much pain and came across this app, while waiting for my pain pill to kick in...which I'm so tired of taking, but I woke from the hypnosis feeling 10x better than the pain pill would have had me feeling!! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who has IBS!!

Great app

I found that if I listen to the app regularly, my digestive issues improve. When I don't listen, I start having problems again. It seems to really help me.
