Incomprehensibly bad on the Apple TV
due to the unmitigated awfulness of the Apple TV remote. I’ve played games all my life, and never could I remember, nay conceive of, something so pointlessly frustrating. I’m no idiot, and yet I played for 5 minutes, couldn’t get past even the 2nd “L” in HELLO, and my only reaction is “$#%$ this $#*!”
And I haven’t yet played it on my phone, but other people like it, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and give this 3 stars even though I have never had such a preposterously bad experience playing a video game ever. (Could E.T. for the Atari 2600 have been this bad? It could not have been.)
Ok, I just played it on my phone. This controls are marginally better*, but I still hate it. I just totally hate it. But again, I don’t want to sandbag 1* review this one, because maybe I just don’t “get” it, and it seems like a fine programming effort and all, and other reviewers seem to “get” it. But man, I’d rather be cleaning the sink that playing this game (quite literally). At least that doesn’t make we want to throw things.
*Note: Why does the Apple TV version have a “boost” button/function (which just as might well be a “siri” function for the amount to times you’ll accidentally press that button - shame Siri couldn’t answer my question “Siri, what the $*^@ is wrong with this game?”), but the iPhone version does *not*? Is it not supposed to be the same game?
Good but not too hard
I love the game. Really smooths, really creative, really fun. I absolutely love it. But the reason I gave it 4 stars was because its not too hard and there is not enough levels. I have already beat it 10 times and I would like more levels. I would also like to recommend to be able to unlock new characters or what ever u call them.
Fun and challenging but a little short
This game is a really fun platformer. The first time I played it I thought it was sorta unfair and overly frustrating but I have now beaten it five times which should tell you how much I enjoy it. P.s. Significantly easier on my iPad than iPhone
