★★★ Includes the NEW Extra Question Pool ★★★

Upgrade your HAM license from General to Amateur Extra! With the elimination of the Morse Code requirement, there is no reason not to upgrade your license to the highest level to obtain all privileges!

Amateur Radio License exams are composed of questions from a pool. Use this application prior to taking your exam to review and practice all possible questions. Then, test your knowledge with practice exams!

After completing your first practice exam, the question pool screen will display your proficiency in each question group for all practice exams you have completed.

You may choose to receive immediate feedback on right and wrong answers when taking a practice test. On practice tests, questions in a group will not be repeated until all of them have been used.

Some questions require you to review associated Figures. These figures images may be zoomed and panned.

FCC rule text is viewable within the application. All sections can be browsed from the main screen. Additionally, for questions where rule sections have been identified, the rule text can be viewed on the question screen when studying the question pool or reviewing test results.

An in-progress practice test can be resumed if you exit the test or the application.

Additional screenshots are available on the support site.

Current Extra question pool is valid through June 30, 2016.

Best Ham Exam Cram & Jam!

Having used all three of these fine apps to successfully punch my Technician, General & Extra tickets, I can state without reservation that these review apps will prepare even the casual student for any of the questions selected from the VEC pool for a given exam.

I especially appreciated the random question generator option, as it conditions the test taker to recall answers no matter which position the correct answer occupies- this closely mimics the actual written exam.

I also like the execution and optimized layouts for both the iPhone and iPad implementations- the author obviously took the time to "get these right".

Overall, a great study aid and question review, and after completing several exams, a good statistical map of subject areas requiring more intensive review, as well.

I wish all study apps for iOS were as well conceived and designed. Kudos to the author for a job well done!

Executive Summary:

Buy this app - you'll be very glad you did when you swap your test form for your CSCE!

Excellent tool

This app is great. I used all three (tech, general and extra). In five weeks I went from no ticket to extra class (with a perfect score). The ability to randomize answers, track score by category, analyze test history and select the specific segments where extra help is needed are all very valuable capabilities. Do yourself a favor, however. Don't be satisfied to memorize answers; know why the correct answer is the correct answer. These days there's no reason not to learn something; the access to information is instant and comprehensive. So, do the practice tests and don't be satisfied unless you are also learning.

Does just what it's designed to do: help you pass!

Was only going to take the Tech to have a 2M radio in the house since we live in a hurricane prone state. After reviewing the material for a day or so, decided I should see how far I could push it. This app and the General app, combined with some reading material from KB6NU and just over a week later, I passed all 3 exams in one sitting. The only shortcoming (and the us the missing star) is that the app does not have a feature to keep throwing questions at you randomly (no set endpoint) until your statistical history with that question shows you've mastered it and it would be set aside to a "mastered" pile...similar to how you study with flash cards.
