Upgrade your HAM license from Technician to General! With the elimination of the Morse Code requirement, there is no reason not to upgrade your license to gain additional privileges!
Amateur Radio License exams are composed of questions from a pool. Use this application prior to taking your exam to review and practice all possible questions. Then, test your knowledge with practice exams!
After completing your first practice exam, the question pool screen will display your proficiency in each question group for all practice exams you have completed.
You may choose to receive immediate feedback on right and wrong answers when taking a practice test. On practice tests, questions in a group will not be repeated until all of them have been used.
Some questions require you to review associated Figures. These figures images may be zoomed and panned.
FCC rule text is viewable within the application. All sections can be browsed from the main screen. Additionally, for questions where rule sections have been identified, the rule text can be viewed on the question screen when studying the question pool or reviewing test results.
An in-progress practice test can be resumed if you exit the test or the application.
Additional screenshots are available on the support site.
Current General question pool is valid through June 30, 2015.

Good Learning Theory
These series of amateur test prep apps are not only solid and reliable, they're also written with a good understanding of learning theory. We all learn a bit differently, but these apps make learning efficient.
The best way to use the app is to read the pool questions with the correct answers, then take the unscored practices for each section after reading the pool questions and answers until each section is mastered, which is usually only about 11 questions. Then move to the next section. When you've practiced until you know all sections, start taking the scored tests. You can then go back and look at the sections and it'll show your cumulative score for each section so you know where you need to work more.
I wish there was a bit of help or instructions explaining how to best use the app. I had mastered the tech tests before learning the app enough to use it efficiently.
I also wish there was a feature that would flash card the questions that I missed the most so I could only work on my difficult questions.
The General Prep App
This App is a very effective short crush course on Ham Radio Licensure Exam. It's like you are guaranteed to
pass the exam when you go over and over the study portion and the practice exam. You can really measure your
progress and make you feel ready and comfortable whenever you feel like taking the Actual Licensure Exam.
I passed easily the Technician Class Licensure Exam after using the App for Technician Class. I downloaded the App for
General Class and preparing myself to take the Actual Exam. I am recommending these Apps for Technician, General,
and Extra to all those who would like to venture into the Hobby of Ham Radio. if you love this Ham Radio Hobby you can get licensed easily with these Apps even if you don't have technical backgrounds on electronics and electricity. It really helps !

Great practice software
Used the technician version about a month ago to pass the Technician exam - first try/100%. Just passed my general yesterday. This software is a great test taking tool. Great options to study pool questions and to take sample tests. However, with the technician license all I needed was this software. For the general license I need to learn a few concepts that made the test so much easier. Used this software with some ARRL material and studied for a month - passed general yesterday 32/35. :)
Great job guys, now add explanations of why each question and answer is right so I don't have o hunt the Internet for the reason!! Still great job, easy to use, keeps track of your weaknesses and scores. Great overall tool to prepare. Will be buying the Extra app soon.
