Solid app, still needs work

Good selection of music, looking forward to further expansions of their library; I especially love the amount of live music recordings they have. The X-Ray Lyrics is a fun little feature. I'm really pleased they made it remember what you were playing last when you open the app! Adding Prime music to your cloud / download library still needs work, it's not very intuitive (and is incredibly awkward on the iPhone). If I want to add an artist's collection, I have to add it album by album, or make a playlist and add the artist to that (I can't simply add an artist to my library). In the iPhone app, there is also no button to add an entire album from the artist's page (as there is in the iPad version); instead, I have to go into each album individually and then add the album from there. It would also help if there was a way you could edit your library / playlists / etc. via the checklist method. Editing lists gets slow and awkward when you have thousands and thousands of songs in your cloud.
All in all, I give it 2 stars for the iPhone version and 4 stars for the iPad version (averaging to 3 stars for the review). I am quite satisfied with the app but definitely looking forward to future updates to improve the functionality.

Great app, could use interface tweaks

I love having this app. The regular music app is so confusing to use, it's so crammed with crap. This is much easier to use for me. I like the easy distinction between the full library and offline library. Overall very simple, clean, and easy to use.

The only issue I have with it is that it's not well-designed for use in the car, when I can't spend a lot of time trying to look down and scroll. My focus needs to be on the road, not trying to scroll through the full list of songs by an artist to try and find the album breaks, or toggle from the default "Recent Activity" tab to the "Library" tab. I really like everything else about this app, but it should be easier to quickly select albums or songs without devoting full attention to it.

Wonderful to have easy access to my music

With just a few blips in performance, Amazon's music app gives me easy access to all the music I've purchased for years...that's quite a bonus. The main improvement I'd like to see is simpler access to individual artists' works. The index that lines the right of the page is, well, too small. Try to touch the H, you get the J; and I have small hands and am using the larger iPad. I'm entranced with the playlists, which have introduced me to several new artists and I appreciate the thought that goes into accumulating works to include in each list. This is a great app.
