Amber Route is a trip to the land of the Slavic beliefs, monsters and magic. Might and magic, heroes, destiny, order and chaos, duels, fate, monsters and adventure. In this game full of surprises embark on a dangerous journey leading his caravan through more and more new areas. The path which you will defeat is however treacherous. At each step, they will persecute traps, sinister creatures and ancient magic. To win, plan your moves carefully, protect ambers, gain extra bodyguards and try to reach as soon as possible to your destination.

Amber Route turn-based game will satisfy even the most demanding fans of board games. The game offers four types of gameplay. So we try our hand at Campaign mode, where we are waiting for as many as 20 boards, play one of the special missions in Single or stand face to face with the enemy using the options Duel (playing on one device) or Multiplayer. The game also offers three difficulty levels, and more than a hundred unique cards.

Note: In order to ensure the smooth running of the game on older devices (iPad 1 and iPhone 4) it is recommended to disable large applications running in the background.

Well done

Some of the older reviews complained about crashes and poor performance. I can't comment on how it runs on older devices, but it runs perfectly on the newer ones. The game is quite a bit of fun. Like any card game there is an element of luck involved, but you also need to play your cards at the right time. The campaign mode is really nice because all the games have different conditions to be met in order to win. So it does'nt get to repetitive. There is no tutorial, just a couple of information pages on the game. So you will have to play for a few minutes before you get the hang of it. But it's worth it!

Nicely done

Good implementation of a board/card game on the iPad. Card combinations are the key to winning. I like the campaign game, it gives some variety. The jump in AI ability between normal and hard was a bit much. I defeated the normal AI campaign while losing maybe 25% or less of the time. On hard, I lose 75% at least. Noe slight gripe, after I completed the campaign I changed the difficulty level and my name (from "user" to my name) but in the campaign mode - all my old progress was still there. I wish there was a "reset" or restart campaign option.

Fun and Lots To Do

-- Update --
Thanks for the two new options! They are great. The increased time makes for a more relaxed game but you can also challenge yourself if you want on the faster time. And I like being able to turn off that white info display. Fun little game folks, you should try it!

Fun little game for $2. I mean you can find that much under the sofa cushions! Colorful, plays quick and has single player, skirmish, duel with another, and a campaign...and 3 difficulty settings. Devs are very responsive! Option to turn off intro video already submitted to Apple. Fun little game to play while in the waiting room...recommended.
