Useful but very basic app
I do love the app. It gets the job done but nothing about it excites me. I only open it when I need to make my payments or check my balance. The only thing that exited me about this app was the touch id. Absolutely love it. But beyond that there's nothing that pulls me in - sometimes I get push notifications for restaurants around lunch or dinner time which I though was cool. I love Amex and will continuing using the app but can we make it more personal with easy to view shopping trends? Something that pulls me back?
Great app but missing 1 thing
I wish the app would tell you when the current billing will be closing, like the mobile website. The app used to have that information. But when the current interface was launched that information disappeared. If that information was available on the app I wouldn't need to go to the website.
Basic functions are better than Citi
This app works well for basic functions. Far better than Citibank, but I would still expect more from AMEX.
The map for finding offers freezes when moving from your present location. If you can get it moving and it tags offers on the map, touching the offer does nothing. There's no name, address or phone number so it's completely useless.
