Overall great app
Very good app. I'd say it's the second best credit card app after capital one's app.
1.) The "you have been logged out after 10 min" is annoying. No need to tell us, just ask for Touch ID again.
2.) The platinum card 1 touch dial buttons don't work very well when traveling overseas. Would prefer a callback where I can enter a local number. Also the "wait time longer than normal" service doesn't accept overseas numbers. Not what I'd expect from a travel oriented charge card.
3.) Please add ability to book travel via amextravel to the app. (Or create a separate amextravel app)
4.) Show pending overseas transactions: these show up as push notifications and in the Apple Pay transaction list but not in pending list of the app or website
5.) Show pending refunds in real time (capital one visa and chase visa can both do this)
6.) Transactions list is a bit confusing with the interleaved promotional messages
7.) I have Amex cards in US, HK and U.K. (ICC) cards. I'm using the US App Store and can't download the "Amex HK" and "Amex UK" as a result. Please don't restrict apps by App Store market.
8.) Show pending membership reward points as your transactions happen instead of waiting until statement closes
Remove "offers" from transaction section
Overall a great app but why do they need to include offers in the transaction section. This is extremely annoying, especially when one has many transactions in a single billing period. There is an offers tab, so no reason to spam us with offers mixed in with our transactions. Come on AmEx!
Does what it's supposed to.
One request, when over limit on card please list "available balance" as a negative rather than $0. I want to know how much of a payment to make to be below my limit.
