Consistent APP easy to use

This application is always reliable. I have no issues quickly logging in to review my balance and make payments. The design and feel is not over complicated. To often designers want to add radio buttons and drop downs for everything. I think this is a great app based off of ease of use and convenience.

A few more reasons I enjoy this app is I like to use my card for points. The benefit of payments posting immediately after I make the payment through the app is fast and convenient. Many competitors make you wait 24-72 hours to post a payment. I can quickly see my balance, make a payment if I don't have the available amount for my purchase, and all just before reaching the register.
Word of caution because companies are always looking for enhancements. Don't ruin the functionality of this app!!!

One of the Best

Great application to manage your personal finances across all your Amex accounts seamlessly. The UI is a bit convoluted, and key features (like viewing statements) should be made more prominent and accessible. Other important features available online—for example: requesting a card replacement, applying for a line of credit increase, filing a dispute/purchase protection claim, and checking spending ability on charge cards—should be integrated in the app, too.

One feature that should certainly be included is some sort of direct messaging service for Amex Platinum Concierge. While emailing Concierge is greatly useful, it would be nice to have an aggregated thread of messages with Concierge right inside the Amex app, as opposed to having to rifle through Inbox/Outbox messages in a mail client. Even if direct messaging isn't available, simply integrating an organized method for emailing Concierge from within the app would be great.

Amex App is Okay

I've used the Amex app for the past 6 months. I like the Touch ID feature. A few suggestions to improve it; have a hyperlink in the Snapshot text that opens the mobile app. Right now only the texts for monthly statements have the hyperlink. The next suggestion is to show activity that spans monthly statements. Right now you have to pick a specific statement to look for a charge. The last suggestion is to the calculation/ build up for the cash rewards. It would be nice to have the ability to use the cash rewards anytime by authorizing it through the app instead of waiting for Amex to decide when we can use it. I have this cash reward use ability with my MasterCard.
