American Photo+ is the re-imagined and re-designed digital version of American Photo magazine. It has ALL the same content as the print magazine, along with special iPad-only features.
March/April 2014 issue highlights:
•Hollywood’s Star Shooter — Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Bill Murray…just a few of the famous personalities who shine brightest when photographed by Peggy Sirota. Find out why she’s one of the best-loved portrait shooters in moviedom.
•Celebs in the Raw — Today’s most memorable celebrity portraits seem to strip away the glamour. But as photos by Chuck Close, Terry Richardson, Cass Bird, Peter Lindbergh, and other top pros reveal, there’s artistry behind the imperfections.
•Fame Stalker Tells All — A working member of the most hated tribe of photographers, the paparazzi, gives an account of his life behind the telephoto lens.
•Rethinking the Photo Book — New indie press and self-publishing models are reshaping the way photographers create and market books.
•Discover New Talent — A studio pro pushes the limits of still life, a student shoots the story of a lifetime, and a portrait shooter finds a squad of muses.
•Best New Photo Books & Shows — Rankin struts his stuff, Peter Beard looks back, Nan Goldin takes on children, magazine photography gets its due, and more.
Plus the hottest new photo gear and much more!
Every iPad edition of American Photo features all the stories from the print issue, plus assorted extras and enhancements. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
