Good app, but needs some work


Simple and easy to use. I’m happy that I get to use the app with my Amex card. I suggest enabling Touch ID or Face ID for a quick, safe, easy access. Statements is at the forefront along with your balance, so there should be no confusion. Payment options is also easy since it’s attached to the balance. Rewards is also attached and sends alerts in a nearby area. One thing I didn’t realize I was doing was checking my spending power. This little button allows for certain transactions to be approved. Which is nice in case you have to make a large purchase and would rather not receive a call from Amex about approving a purchase. Don’t abuse this back-to-back consecutively because Amex will temporarily freeze your accounts.

Now here’s were the work needs to be added... Two-Step Authenticator is a must in today’s day and age, I don’t have the ability to add my bank info and I’m redirected to the Amex website, adding a card also tells me to call the number that is prompted(which is confusing since the mailed card recommends using the app), and the ability to turn my card on or off. Yanno, in the event if I misplaced or in the unfortunate event that I lost my card. All of this should be added to the app and also website.

But for anyone with the card, I highly suggest downloading the app to check statements and rewards.

I so happy you helped me with my Lures BUSSINESS with AMEX BUSSINESS cards you allowed me to have. I am so grateful in every way. Being with the Amex Family makes me internally happy . I am always proud to show my cards as I purchase items during our life time needs , wants ,travels , spontaneously going on a trip. The blessing is America Express is very very important to me in my heart.

I don’t think always customers look at it like I do. Maybe but few. The wonderful benifits you offer on each card and what it stands for you guys have done a fabulous job.

I am so happy with all cards, I would like a few others if down the road you allow me too. I have my eyes on PURPLE ONE SPG ONE I THINK IT IS . OR THE BLUE CASH ONE MAYBE SO. I bought plane tickets for my vacation, specifically on my American Express, because they had an offer. I have never used offers on my American Express, but figured I would start using them. I was trying to decide which credit card I would use to buy my plane tickets, because I wanted to see which one would provide me with the best benefits. Seeing this offer on American Express, I went and bought my plane tickets (purposely from Delta). Two days later when I bought the tickets, the offer was no longer there. Although, When I had seen the offer it had an expiration, so I made sure to buy my tickets by then. I called American Express to see if there was something they could do, and they said no, I should have put the offer “in my cart.” The terms were not clear when looking at the expiration date. I have since sent a letter to customer service, with no response. I have paid off my American Express and will no longer be using the card. Too bad you guys lost a good customer over a couple bucks.
