The Angry Birds are back in the sequel to the biggest mobile game of all time! Angry Birds 2 starts a new era of addictive slingshot gameplay with stunning graphics, challenging multi-stage levels, scheming boss pigs and even more destruction.
**Angry Birds 2 is optimized for iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad mini 2 and iPod Touch 5G or newer. You can try it on older devices, but we can't guarantee a smooth bird flinging experience!
CHOOSE YOUR BIRD!
It’s the ultimate slingshot action strategy – YOU choose which bird to fling next! “But that makes it easier, right?” WRONG! You’ll need to choose wisely if you’re going to stop those eggs from getting scrambled. Plus, crush those pigs and blocks to fill up the Destruct-O-Meter and earn extra birds!
NEW MULTI-STAGE LEVELS!
You’ve never seen Piggy Island like this – jaw-droppingly stunning levels brimming with exotic plants, quirky details, fun animations and plenty of peril. Those naughty porkies are now experts at building physics defying towers: levels now have multiple stages for an added challenge. Uh oh.
Blizzards, Hot Chilis, Golden Ducks and other outrageous spells give you an added advantage against those swindling swine. And when you need some serious help, guess who’s at hand to make a pork-smashing cameo? That’s right, it’s the sardine loving Mighty Eagle. Oh yeah!
CHALLENGE OTHER PLAYERS!
Challenge players from across the world in the Arena to see who’s the best bird flinger of them all! Connect to Facebook and play new tournaments every day to earn feathers and level-up your flock. In the Arena you play until you run out of birds and spells, so get out there and solve the puzzles – you’re only up against the rest of the planet.
DEFEAT BOSS PIGGIES!
There’s some serious bad guys on Piggy Island, and your slingshot skills are needed to take them down. Foreman Pig, Chef Pig and the infamous King Pig will stop at nothing to keep your eggs. Are you gonna let ‘em get away with that? It’s time to hit that pork and teach ‘em a lesson.

Not Pleased with Everything...
I give it three stars simply because I do enjoy playing the game, however, it bothers me that I can't scroll through my entire deck. I should be able to see and choose any of my available cards at any time, whether it's my current hand or my spell cards. I like to choose the freeze and duck spells to use together because ducks can break ice a little easier. The way the cards are dealt, I don't always get to use this combination when I want to because one of my spells are back in the untouchable deck. My other complaint is that this game offers us packages of spells, gems and pearls for REAL MONEY!!! Seriously?! No one can earn redeemable coins for these perks? Heck, at the very least there should be a reward system for completing a chapter and it should be something really great. Not like 5 gems, 3 feathers or 10 pearls. Save your real cash money. I'm past level 180 and I got there without spending any additional money. This is like a gambling game. Don't fall for it. Oh, yeah! And Tower of Fortune? Never spend more than 20 gems to proceed. Pull the plug while you're ahead once you've seen one piggie. Now all that laughing those pigs do makes sense: they are laughing all the way to the real bank!
If I were to summarize this game with one sentence, it would be "incredibly amazing and well designed!" First, the gameplay; Every single level has different terrain, and it seems like the same constructions every time. How is that a good thing, though. It's good because, in the levels, their placement is random every time you play the level. Now the arena: I like how the game auto-balances matches to make the game even. I also love the rewards you get when you get into the top 3! Next; the birds. First of all, what is the grey bird from? Did you need an extra birdie, because you could've just used "Hal" (that boomerang bird.) Secondly, either give Terrence more destructive power, or give him more velocity the further he travels. Thirdly, I also like how Red has a new power; I just love pushing piggies into their doom. Now, the only thing I have against this game is the "lives." Why would you encourage people to play other games while waiting for the lives to regenerate? When people stop playing, they'll probably forget about the game. Overall, even though there are some downsides, this game is super fun.
Angry money grabbing
I gave it three stars for the graphics and the clever bird and pig voices. However the dark side emerges. On many occasions it has been a losers game. Right out of the gate a bird will not be able to even fly. After enough of such failures a sad looking red bird will appear holding you up for gems which cost money. Also they have denominations of gems that go up until they exit a child's or an average person's budget. Not only have they made a money grab but they have tarnished a legend. .
Angry Birds has now made me angry. They have new features like the tower where prices are supposed to reside and there are a magic magic spells and jams but there's a little pigs that appears and then you must pay money or relinquish your prizes. I have relinquished my prizes and paid money so many times and come away with zero prizes. Another disturbing practice was that I played Angry Birds and wasn't paying attention or got called away for a secondand I had gems and when I checked again the gems were missing. Apparently the birds have taken up the art of Collection in earnest. The game has many positive aspects but the money grabbing and that the unfair play make the game not as much fun.
