IAP for full campaign, side quests, and upcoming multiplay.

■ Overview
Harbinger takes you into the past, to the very days when Kerr the Breaker, Bringer of Nightmares, first bore down on the realm in vengeance. You, Forlorn — a pilgrim caught out of time, and follower of the Resonant — are called upon by the shadow of the late King Cadmus. Cadmus implores you to save the children of Qurrhem, and the realm of Cadmeia. In a time before Blood Memory, you stand alone between death and deliverance… for the forgotten cannot die, as they have truly never lived… until this day.

Prove your worth against the embodiment of death, Gravetender Anku, only after meeting the Breach Knight sent by Kerr for the first time. Then quickly cross through Cadmeia to deliver its inhabitants from peculiar medicine men, hellhounds, and monsters. At the heart of Qurrehm, High Clarus Alina – loyal acolyte of Cadmus – awaits, perhaps as Corrupt or Corrupter. Chaos and confusion plague the realm. You have no friend save for your trusty blade, axe, or hammer. Pass mercy to those afflicted, and judgment to those whom embody the coming nightmare.

A price tag is not a complaint if you can see it.

They literally say that the campaign is an IAP in the description. You shouldn’t have anything to complain about, they withheld nothing. That being said,

Dark Souls, take notes.

My two cents are for the combat alone, as that is all I can say anything about at the moment. Even though the controls aren’t very new, the angle is very refreshing. I enjoyed Blood Memory with a few friends but after seeing that dynamic angle for so long these kinds of games lost their luster, and this just revived it. What’s especially to love though is that dodging doesn’t seem to be useless, and missing a dodge doesn’t have devastating consequences (Of course, I only faced one enemy, what do I know) but dodging is essential to this type of game and it’s very responsive in here. You’re able to follow up with another attack which syncs in with the dodge so that the flow of your attack isn’t interrupted, making it that slight bit better. There’s a very satisfying weight to the strikes in this game which makes it feel a lot like the new God Of War in some way. Soon as I get the chance to get a gift card into my account my first $4 are to the rest of the campaign and then I’ll update the review. Til then, this is really promising.

Fantastic Job!!!Getting better every time!!

I’ve been following these line of games for awhile and happy yet again and hooked more then ever. I feel like they’ve improved a lot and the dlc with katana and samurai armor is sick. I hope the devs plan to add equal content to there main game and possible dlc like that cause I’d buy it. Honestly Love the intro, gives a taste of the game and what your gonna get yourself into. I can see why some people are upset that the game is not free and guess should make it clearer, but seeing how they did such a good job I am willing to pay. Top it off $3.99 isn’t a lot to ask for considering how much content this game has so far. I hope the devs keep building on to this game because I feel they nailed it. What I would love too see if possible more voice acting!!! That would be sick to expend this universe with more spoken dialogue would make my day!!! Heck even more cutscenes would be awsome!!!

Awesome CS

I originally wasn’t going to play this game, it’s not my type and I didn’t play the first one. Then I read the bad reviews, which was more full of petty whining than actual reviews. The developer responses made my decision to download. I can imagine they have to deal with some pretty vicious comments and, over time, it can be easy to lose professional composure and respond without holding back. The responses addressed almost every issue and asked for CONSTRUCTIVE feedback to help improve the game. If a negative review is written because of a bad experience, include details that will help the developer improve the game. Technology has allowed us to all become beta testers for these companies, who now have the ability to change their products based on feedback. Everybody wins as long as they do their part!

Anyways, the graphics look amazing and as the developers said in a response, once you purchase the game, the other IAPs are unnecessary.
