ABOUT ANNALS OF INTERNAL MEDICINE
Established in 1927 by the American College of Physicians (ACP), Annals of Internal Medicine is the premier internal medicine journal. Annals of Internal Medicine’s mission is to promote excellence in medicine, enable physicians and other health care professionals to be well informed members of the medical community and society, advance standards in the conduct and reporting of medical research, and contribute to improving the health of people worldwide. To achieve this mission, the journal publishes a wide variety of original research, review articles, practice guidelines, and commentary relevant to clinical practice, health care delivery, public health, health care policy, medical education, ethics, and research methodology. In addition, the journal publishes personal narratives that convey the feeling and the art of medicine.
Annals of Internal Medicine’s publisher, the American College of Physicians, is the largest medical specialty organization and the second-largest physician group in the United States. ACP members include 132,000 internal medicine physicians (internists), related subspecialists, and medical students. Internists specialize in the prevention, detection, and treatment of illness in adults.
What's New in Version 3.0.0
* Support for portrait mode for all pages
* Accessibility improvements
This app has made big improvements this year. It used to only have landscape mode and was buggy and closing all the time. Now it has utilized the functionality of the tablet platform and provides the table of contents in a very easy to read visual layout. The journal content is excellent with good practical utility for an internist. Highly recommended. This is a great way to keep the clutter of unused journals to a minimum.
great resource for ACP members
It's good to be able to access journal articles wherever I am and to not have them accumulating. Also provides access to videos and other learning and teaching materials. Very happy with the app.
