"I’ve finally found the best all-in-one image annotation tool for iOS – Annotable for iPhone and iPad." —— Federico Viticci of MacStories

Features (many are free, some are unlocked with purchases):
◉ All the expected common tools: rectangles, ovals, arrows, lines, and texts.
◉ Fully customizable: 8 colors, 5 sizes, 3 outlines.
◉ Stylishly obscure private information with Blur and 3 styles × 5 granularities of Pixelations.
◉ Or on the contrary, highlight something with Spotlights.
◉ If you really want to focus on a particular spot use a Loupe.
◉ You can even mark text on screenshots of apps like Notes, Twitter, and Safari. It feels like magic, and can really save the day when you want to share a web page screenshot with some words highlighted but forgot to select the words when you took the screenshot.
◉ Fully support Action Extension, Photo Editing Extension, Edits Sync via iCloud Photo Library, URL Schemes, 3D Touch, Wide Color…Annotable utilizes your powerful iOS system to the extreme.

Distinctions from many other similar Apps:
◆ All the results are high-resolution images.
◆ Not only screenshots but all images are supported.
◆ Large images can be directly annotated and do not have to be cropped.

What's New in Version 1.11.3

Sorry I screwed up by accidentally releasing the test version of Annotable in last update. Some features are paid to unlock via In-App Purchases and are restored to be so. If you were misled to think that all features are free I'm sorry again.

About Annotable 2

I'll start developing Annotable 2 soon. I have many good ideas for it, with respect to both new features and new designs. I'm pretty sure it will be an even better image annotation app.

I've decided to make it a free upgrade: If you pay to Unlock All in Annotable 1 you'll get all new features for free in Annotable 2.

Good things take time. Besides, we just got a new family member and she needs a lot of my attention :). So please be patient.

Happy holiday! See you next year.

If you want to ditch Skitch....

... Don't get me wrong about Skitch, it is a great app and served a useful purpose when no one else did but the whole Evernote thing just blows it for me. Sorry, but am not an Evernote fan, but cool if you are.
Ember worked until the developers abandoned it and the others basically amount to just pointing some arrows at stuff, maybe be able to write a hand note, maybe offer text or a circle feature, but this app does it all if you pay for it all and really it isn't much to ask for when you see the abundance of features offered. I just hope it doesn't get abandoned like many other great apps that come along and because many expect things for free or 99 cents. Well, you get what you pay for and if you want a quality app that does it all in terms of annotation, this is the one and not any of the others sitting beside this can even come close. Great app. Congrats on the new family member :)

Just What I Was Looking For

I've been on the search for a long time for an application that does what Annotable does. I had to settle for a cobbled-together suite of apps where some worked with all of my photos, and others only worked with screenshots.

Annotable combines all of the functionality from all of my currently-used apps into a single app that has a really nice UI and great set of tools that are perfect for iOS.

A is for Annotable and for Awesome

This stellar image annotator keeps getting better with each update. I’ve tried many similar apps, and this app is the winner.
