Looks Great, but...
This would be such a helpful app if it didn’t want access to all my Facebook or Google contacts, calendar, etc. There is no option to just use the desktop version without signing up with an e-mail address with the intent of syncing to every device you own. What if I don’t want to sync to other devices or apps? I don’t want to see my to-dos in my e-mail inbox, I don’t want to see them on my iPad, and I don’t want to see them on my phone. Call me old-fashioned, but I just want a place to organize to-dos visually so I can plan out how to accomplish them. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I’d love to use this app because it looks amazing from the screenshots here (and I’m sure I’d have given it four or five stars), but I don’t want it tapping me on the shoulder constantly.
My favorite to-do solution I’ve found
I have tried many (many) (too many) other task management apps and many of them are really good but this app hit the sweet spot for me. Not to complicated by keeping a clean interface and not too simple as to restrict what you want to do. The desktop app is different from the iphone app and I wish the UI was a bit more similar in terms a dedicated calendar view as well as the list/task view (maybe I am missing the calendar view button somewhere?). The list view is great on the desktop app by letting you see your week laid out horizontally. Good stuff
Delete all my google drive files?
I love the iOS version of this app and was hoping to find something that would integrate across my entire apple ecosystem as well. However, when I went to sign in with google on the desktop ap, it wanted permission to, "See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files".... um no thank you! Why would I give a third party ap permission to poke around all of the files on my google drive and DELETE them?!
Please developers, I want to love this ap and use it across the apple eco system. There is no reason to have these kinds of permissions to access information from this ap. I am hoping they restrict it in future releases.
