"It really has the potential to become the standard software musicians use to learn. Most of the work I do nowadays I do with the help of Anytune. It is an essential part of my way of learning now."

***** "I love this app so much!! It helps me for practising and transcribing songs. A must have app!!"
***** "Get this. - I’ve been using the iPad version for a while and I must say I’m happy the Mac version is out. Got the moment it came out. You should do the same. I’ve tried all others; nothing compares. It’ll save you hours upon hours."
***** "Transcription Heaven! - I’ve been using Anytune for the last few months and find it an essential tool in my musical education. I’m not an employee but I have Beta tested this version. I used to use ASD but find Anytune to be much more powerful and very intuitive. I use it primarily to slow down songs and transcribe notes for my bass. The slowdown function works great and the waveform visualization makes it incredibly easy to pick in/out points for every bar. Combine that with the powerful filters and you’re set. The ability to add lyrics and have them scroll in real time doesn’t hurt, either.I also have this on my iPad. It’s as important as my bass itself. Thanks, Anytune!"

Ratings and Reviews
it’s the shizzle
Call me old school, but I think you need to learn and practice along with actual songs!?! To get things right and your technique solid, you should start slow and then build up to speed. Anytune is absolutely perfect for those purposes; it let’s you slow a tune down as far as needed to learn a song or a complicated passage or part, then bring it up to speed in stages, until you’ve got it under your belt. Don’t feel like learning in the recorded key? Flip from Eb to E or Bb to A with just a click! Looping is no problem, and actually being able to view the waveform makes it super simple to quickly make up the section. All in all, this is a fantastic learning and practice tool!
Liked it before ReFrame, now I like it more
ReFrame is great for isolating instruments when I want to learn a bass part for a song. Often it’s hard to isolate the bass in the mix just by ear. Now it’s a lot easier. You’re still limited to the quality of the bass track in the original recording, but it’s better than just using the EQ controls at isolating an instrument. My music teacher really likes the feature that lets you start looping at a slow speed and then it increases the playback speed after each loop. Scrolling back or forward through a song is easy with the touchpad. The user interface can be a little confusing but I’m always able to figure it out. It’s a great app.
Perfection, well pretty close. Amazing Slow what ?
I started in the Amazing Slow Downer world until I met this tool. It does it all from slow down, speed up, tune up/down, chunk it up, loop it, and a million things I’ve still not used. This tool is the key reason I have a Mac at all. It plays well on my Apple portable devices too though I see little use for it there. YMMV. Actually I use it to slow down mp3s of my classes and podcasts too cause it is easier than most anything else to just take an mp3 and then do whatever you please with it. I can’t live without this tool for everything related to my song charting and guitar practice. BUY.
