Do you have what it takes to be an Approach Controller at a busy airport?
Can you guide aircraft approaching and departing at an increasing pace?
Like a real-life air traffic controller you must maintain a lateral separation of 3 miles or a vertical separation of 1000 feet between aircraft landing and departing.
Give altitude, speed, heading and direct-to clearances to aircraft and make them reach the initial approach fix or the exit point at the flight plan altitude.
Challenge your skills at more than 200 different airports and our database grows constantly. The current list includes amongst others:
* London Heathrow
* New-York JFK
* Paris Charles-de-Gaulle
* Houston Intercontinental
* Frankfurt am Main
* Miami International
* Zurich Kloten
* Chicago O'Hare
* Amsterdam Schiphol
* Dallas Fort-Worth
* Denver International
* Sydney Kingsford Smith
* Las Vegas Mc Carran
* Los Angeles International
* Wichita Mid-Continent
* San Diego
* Madrid Barajas
* Charlotte Douglas International
* Milano Malpensa

What's New in Version 1.3
Fixed a bug with requested altitude when changing the assigned arrival runway
Game is great…at first...
So, the concept of the game is great and fun. This is VERY poorly executed. Planes will collide if they are overlapping EVEN IF THEY ARE AT 5000 FT ALTITUDE DIFFERIENCE! It is impossible to have planes land at parrellel runways because “loss of seperation”. Clearly however made this game has a generally poorly understanding of real-world aviation rules, and that planes can fly over each other…and it doesnt matter when they are 9000 FEET APART!
Need to rework the seperation standards
“Like a real life Air Traffic Controller”……this is what the game is based on. I'm a “real life” controller. With the simplicity of this game (ie. get planes to the runway without breaking separation) the seperation standards of the 7110.65 need to be written into the game. Diverging courses and simultanious parallel approaches…. write these into this game as they read in the .65 would make this game a blast. As it is this game is not even close to “the real thing.” A RADAR controllers ability to move planes around the scope with approved seperation is far better than this game leads one to believe. Fix this and you are going to have an amazing game.
