Okay Concept- Poor Outcome- Partial Scam
First off- I added a second star because the concept and app are great! However- it's actually not a well thought out company. They just have a great marketing company and a great app developer. --- I've had a lot of issues with spirit airlines and I found this app and decided to give it a try. Yes, why not try it, they only charge if there is an outcome. My issue is they charged me money for a voucher I received from spirit after they contacted them about a cancelled flight. I told them I no longer fly with spirit for so many reason, I'm sure anyone reading this can relate to the frustration with that horrible airline, and they say that, even though I wouldn't use the voucher, would be charging me 30 percent of the card on file. Which, is hilarious cause now I lost money using this app. So for the 5 star reviews stating- why not?! Yes....I thought that too. However, why are we opening an account with a credit card? Why wouldn't they only ask that if you receive a voucher/refund? That's essentially a scam and I wish I would have recognized it from the beginning. But hope my review is helpful to those who may want the app. You're better off just contacting customer care for your airlines. And always email customer care for airlines-just a rule of thumb!
Multiple attempts to get "service". What a joke.
How ironic that this app is called "service", because that it most definitely not what you get. I contacted them because I had a major delayed flight that their software did not pick up and wanted to figure out how to get it investigated and they never responded to my request. Waited about a week and contacted them again about it and again, never heard back. Clearly they aren't interested in my potential business for them. Don't waste your time with this app.
Used the app for 4 months, never received a penny
I opened several claims for delayed flights and each time Service was unable to leverage a nickel from the airlines. They even asked me to get involved at several points to re-contact the airline to get the airline to work with Service, as several airlines do not work with third parties for compensation. App was a colossal waste of time and it requires a large use of your personal info including unfettered access to your email account. Great concept, horrendous execution.
