Barely able to do anything

So, as the title suggests, over the last few days I can barely do anything on the app. For some reason, when I try to do anything like go to documents to update story chapters I’m writing, search stories, read stories, etc, it continuously says “Request Failed.” No matter how many times I hit “Retry” it fails within a few seconds. It’s not my internet because if it was I wouldn’t be able to play the mobile games I have downloaded or even write this review. My phone is up to date and cutting off my internet for a few seconds and then switching it back on doesn’t work either. The “Request Failed” is also totally random because I can hop on for like, an hour, and be totally fine, then, in the next instance, I’m fighting the app just to do anything for hours! I’m tired, repeat tired, of having to rewrite the EXACT SAME LINES over and over. Please look into this and update the app, which according to the App Store was updated 2 months ago, if necessary. Thank you.

Difficulties reading stories not in library.

So within the last week I can no longer open search stories and find stories by books, movies, tv shows, cartoons, plays, games, etc. I can swipe left and search “recently searched and then narrow the filters down, but it doesn’t allow for “New searches” to be found. I mean I can read any story that I’ve previously read or downloaded, but the unread/unsearched topics are not able to be found.

For example, if I have searched for “Harry Potter” stories previously, I can go over to Harry Potter in recently searched and find plenty of stories, but if I never looked for say “twilight”, I wouldn’t be able to even search for any stories under that book/movie as I’ve never read any previously and therefore it’s not even a choice.

Voice Options

I'm glad that they finally added more voices to the desktop version of this app because I enjoy Samantha (iphone) on the phone. However, although Samantha is the default now on the desktop app, there isn't a way to change the voice options. I belive the button is broken since there is still a section in the settings to is supposed to create a drop down menu. This isn't a problem for me, but it could be if I wanted to read something in a different language.
