Description

A small tool to get the direction to kaaba in mecca. Also spelled qibla (Green Arrow).
There is also a sun compass that shows the sun direction and if you can see it or not.
The distance label shows how many km kabe is.

First you click to refresh to get the GPS Coordinate from GPS (IPhone) or WLAN (IPOD Touch). Then this tool calculates distance, heading, sun position (updated every minute) and the magnetic north. Then the display shows you the different directions.

Good concept

Doesn't use the digital compass so you still have to use the apple compass then switch back to this app. Good start but needs some work.

I have tried to use the software in different cities with US and Canada and always it gave me wrong direction unless you have some sense of direction. If you initially locate the direction of Qibla and try to move the iPhone in another direction - still it will give you the original direction even your iPhone is another direction - even you refresh the screen. Thanks God this product is free.

Handy tool

Nice utility to find the direction of Kaba (Mekkah). But you should manually know North direction first (not provided by this tool) to be able to point to Mekkah.
