The Apple Store app provides a more personal way to shop for the latest Apple products and accessories. Get recommendations based on the Apple products you already own. Find out which accessories are compatible with your devices. Easily upgrade to a new iPhone from your current one. Keep track of your orders wherever you go. And sign up for hands-on sessions in store. You can even use Apple Pay to check out from your iPhone when you visit a participating Apple Store.

Note that the Apple Store app and certain features are available only in select countries.

How your data is used
To confirm compatibility and recommend products, the app will only access the name, model and part number of devices linked to your Apple ID. To turn off this feature, go to My Devices in Account Settings.

Terrible System, Lazy Employee


I placed an order for an iPad Mini 4 and it gave me the option of having it delivered in 2 hours from their store in Manhattan Village so I chose that for an added 9.00$ fee. Transaction completed, money pulled out of my account, I received an email about 40 mins later stating my address is outside of their immediate delivery area. Order cancelled please wait 5 business days for a refund. I would have preferred if someone called to let me know and gave me the option to pick it up at the store myself. But I didn’t receive a phone call, and now I have to wait 5 days for a refund. Fix your system so it doesn’t even allow me to place the order for delivery if cannot be delivered to my address or DO NOT GIVE ME THAT OPTION AT ALL. I spoke with 4 different customer service representatives (call kept conveniently getting disconnected) all of which were unsympathetic because hey, it’s Friday and truly, we don’t give a crap for tangling up your funds and keeping it in limbo for 5 business days, how about you place an entire new order and that’ll fix your issue. To the employee at the Manhattan Village store, do your job better, call the customer if you can’t deliver the item and Apple, thanks to your flawed system, you’ve lost a loyal customer. I don’t plan on buying from you anymore.

Bad iPhone X Pre-order Experience


I got in to the website before the app let me in to pre-order my iPhone X. The website told me I had to finish the process in the app because I did the pre-approval for the iPhone Upgrade Program through the app. Once the app finally let me in, I was up against 2-3 week delays. It’s a pretty bad experience to have the Apple website tell you to finish a process on this app and for the app to not let you do that in time. Been a loyal Apple customer since I was young. Had the first iPhone and most that have been released since. It’s frustrating to be so loyal and do everything Apple asks and then be treated like this. Leaves me wondering what more I have to do to get what I want?

UPDATE: I’m bumping up my review to 4 stars since Apple was able to deliver my phone just 3 days after launch day despite the initial 2-3 week expected delay. I still contend that the pre-order experience was a bad one, but I suppose Apple successfully underpromised and over delivered in my case.

Terrible customer service

So my poor 7 year old son that lives 800 miles away from me broke his iPod Touch. Considering this is the only way we get to see each other is on FaceTime. So I went online today on the app and bought him a new one. I picked my closest location for pickup, which is less than a mile from me and paid for it. Figuring I could get it, reinstall all of his apps and get it to fedex by 7. Went to the store to pick it up and the app chose the one downtown? Oh well not a big thing, nope, huge thing. Even though all of these stores are owned by Apple they can’t simply transfer a purchase to another store. All they can do is refund your money, within 3-5 days, and sell you another one. Talked to customer service, and she said this happens all the time, and it’s not right but there’s nothing she can do. She was extremely polite and apologetic but I asked to speak to a supervisor just to vent, when I got him he was combative, it was my fault that the app picked the wrong store. All I wanted was validation that it’s a stupid policy, and I got none of that. It almost makes me want to switch to Samsung after being an Apple user since the first phone.
