Where to make a Genius Bar appointment???

Since Apple hasn't brought back the Genius Bar I've deleted the app. If Apple elimates the 3.5 earphone jack it will be time to think about eliminating the iPhone. Nice work Timmy Cook.

Yet another HUGE mistake under the Tim Cook reign: cutting back on customer service. The previous version of this app's best feature was the easy ability to make an appointment at the Genius Bar. Now that feature is gone. Apple is apparently trying to shift customers away from having face to face support and would rather shift customers to online support. Really??? Given the fact that Apple products continue to lose ground to their competition in every category the one differential that keeps many of us loyal is the ability to realitivly easy was to meet with a friendly knowledgeable expert that fixes issues with the product. After nearly two decades as an Apple enthusiast I am getting ready to bounce to Samsung for my first non-Apple smartphone, especially if the 3.5 earphone jack disappears.

The decline

Apple manufactures predominantly overseas, utilizes offshore tax entities, and demands a high-margin retail for their products. They'll even sell you AppleCare. But this obvious strategy to reduce GB utilization is ill-conceived. Yesterday it was reported Timmy Cook earned (and exercised) some 1 MILLION stock options solely for remaining with Apple for 5 years. It seems others are finally waking up to his low record of innovation and achievement during this period, unless you approve of his liberal pet projects like building costly "green" energy plants and supporting far-left democrats. Steve Jobs was a spendthrift genius who led Apple into a successful behemoth based on innovation and service. Cook is a plotter who's ridden this wave of success but seems incapable of leading Apple toward long-term growth. Buying suppliers and redeveloping existing products into lines like Apple Music and AppleTV is not a recipe for long-term success.

What's the problem?

I love this app. It's simple and effective user interface creates an inviting atmosphere to gander at quality made products off my phone. The app was designed well and has complex coding optimizing the app for any device.
The Genius Bar is gone. Yes. But in the quest for a simpler interface, I don't think that much is missing.

It's like taking out the aux port. People are freaking out right now, but in a year it will be the gold standard. Calm down. It's a great app, and certainly the best way to access Apple's store on iOS devices.
