Description

The Apple Store app provides a more personal way to shop for the latest Apple products and accessories. Get recommendations based on the Apple products you already own. Find out which accessories are compatible with your devices. Easily upgrade to a new iPhone from your current one. Keep track of your orders wherever you go. And sign up for hands-on sessions in store. You can even use Apple Pay to check out from your iPhone when you visit a participating Apple Store.

Note that the Apple Store app and certain features are available only in select countries.

How your data is used
To confirm compatibility and recommend products, the app will access both the services and the name, model, and part number of devices linked to your Apple ID. To turn off this feature, go to Account > Settings > My Devices and Services.

Excellent Customer Service

2 paraphrase the old cliche’, “U Can’t please ALL the people ALL the time”, but I confess I have nothing but praise for the numerous encounters I’ve personally experienced with Apple techs & sales reps, N stores, on the phone & on line chats. They have ALWAYS been able 2 identify my “problem”, provide a solution or at least a reasonable explanation why I can’t do what I want & more than once saved me money! I became a loyal Apple customer with my first IPhone (4); I ‘m now on my 3rd (7S+), plus my 2nd IPad a MacBook Pro & I’m about 2 acquire a Mac Mini! All after strenuously resisting the need for a smart phone! Now I can’t remember how I managed (obviously not nearly as well!) pre-Apple! Apple is the Nordstrom of technology. Please keep up the good work, courteous, informative customer service. THANK U!

Not user friendly

We buy a new phone on average every two years. I thought it would be fun to try to use the app to buy the new phone. I created an order for an iPhone 8, and twice during the process selected pick up in store. I was all done, I thought, hit place order, and the next thing I know I’m getting an email acknowledging my order will be shipped to me for delivery in three days. No, no, no! I immediately went to the store, asked for their help. They had me call AppleCare OK so I did. They canceled the order - in theory. Two hours later I get an email telling me my shipment is in process, complete with a tracking number, and I will receive it at the end of the day Tuesday. I called back again, confirmed that the order was actually cancelled, and now am waiting to see if the phone shows up and whether or not I actually have to return it. And I’m also waiting for my $750 to be refunded to my checking account! Which, even though the order was canceled within two hours, will take five business days to refund.

An exceptional App for an Exceptional Store

I applaude Apple for not only personalized customer service (these people actually care!) but also for consistently striving to produce quality devices that I know I can depend on. No, not everything is perfect all the time, heck, I’m not! No one is. But Apple strives to make every experience for their customers a pleasure. I buy with no worries because I know I can depend on Apple to be there for me and they have. I have not experienced the same with other software/hardware companies who seem too busy trying to “best” the competition rather than care for the customer. I trust Apple. I also trust their judgement on what they post and for how long. I love the Apple Store app. I have found if something doesn’t work it’s usually 99% operator error. Apple puts fun back in technology!
