Description

Our critics call this the "...best hydration app in the App Store..."

And our medical doctors say "...I recommend this app to all of my patients...".

Now featuring a beautiful new Apple Watch app, Aqueous is a medically researched, water tracker. The app uses appropriate reminders, which you control, to suggest the correct amount of water you should drink every day to help you stay hydrated. You can even personalize how the app looks and sounds! Best of all, we help charities who provide clean & safe drinking water to children around the world.

Sadly, more than 4,100 children die everyday from drinking dirty water, and so when you use Aqueous every day, you'll not only stay hydrated, healthy and lose weight but you'll be saving lives too.

By taking a step to improve your health, you can help us make the world a more beautiful place!

Good app, room to improve

I like this app, it's useful and well designed simple interface with customizable default drink sizes. There are two features, though, that could use some improvement. #1 - Notifications: If I enter a drink it should disable the next notification. I often enter a drink and then just minutes later receive a notification that it's time to take a drink. I should be reminded only when I need to take a drink. #2 - Apple Watch app: I love that there is an Apple Watch app, unfortunately I've had to stop using it and only use the iPhone app to enter drinks because the synchronization is not accurate. If I enter a drink on the Watch and it is not close enough to the phone to sync, the next time they connect the watch uses the phone app's water total, in effect erasing what I entered on the watch. When syncing it should at least take the larger of the two totals. Sometimes the Watch app and the watch complication on the watch face don't sync either until forced to. Still, I like and use the app/s. I hope these features will improve with updates.

Reads Water Entered with Other Apps

I've gone though & purchased a number of water tracking apps the past few days, and out of all of them this is the only version that I've found which both:

1. Reads data from Health so that if water is added though a different app it will show here.
2. Supports Apple Watch completions.

A lot of other water tracking apps support complications on apple watch, but none of them ever seem to recognize water added via other apps (such as meal tracking apps).

For this reason, this has become my app of choice. About the only thing I don't like with this app is the inclusion of a water drop emoji in the name (it's a bit annoying).

Nice update

As the healthy magazine said, without a doubt, this is the best hydration app in the App Store! I've stopped using all the other ones.

...and I found the hidden duck in the watch app!
