Powered by your data and Artificial Intelligence developed in partnership with Microsoft, the Arccos Caddie app provides any player, anywhere with access to Golf’s Smartest Caddie. It works with Arccos Smart Sensors (formerly branded Arccos 360), Arccos Smart Grips, and the Cobra Connect system that comes standard with most Cobra Golf drivers and irons sets.

Arccos Caddie features include:
· Automatic Shot Tracking – Experience hands-free data capture with no tagging or annoying disruptions
· Smart Distance Club Averages – Know how far you really hit each club
· Caddie Advice – Receive your best strategy for every shot on any hole in the world
· Advanced Analytics – Use performance breakdowns to guide your practice and equipment choices
· "Plays Like" Distances – Get rangefinder GPS distances adjusted for the impact of wind speed, wind direction and elevation

Arccos Caddie insights are available for 40,000+ courses worldwide and are based on your personal performance data (unlocked after you play 5 rounds), as well as more than 100 million shots taken by the Arccos community worldwide. Arccos Caddie also offers a tournament mode that Conforms to the Rules of Golf (USGA Decision #2017-0754).

To use Arccos Caddie, players simply pair their Arccos sensors one time, launch the app and place their iPhone in a front pocket. Data captured includes club usage, distances hit, club averages, driving accuracy, approach shot accuracy, greens in regulation, sand saves, putts and more. By accessing the Player Dashboard, Arccos users and their instructors can gain valuable insights via deep dives into stats, playing patterns and rich data comparison for every club, shot, hole and round.

The Arccos Caddie system includes support for Apple Watch, featuring quick access to GPS distances, adding and removing putts, and helpful strategy recommendations - all without needing to take your iPhone out of your pocket.

The Arccos Caddie app uses the iPhone's GPS at the highest level of accuracy while playing golf. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Great app when it works....but I almost threw my phone in a pond the other day!

I think that this is an awesome program and tool, when it works. Over the last 1.5 years it has helped me to develop more consistency with each club and develop a good understanding of how far each club “actually” goes. Lately though it seems that the app is having quite a few issues. I have had to delete the last 2 or 3 rounds that I’ve played because a few holes into the round, the arccos system will lose its way or start missing shots and when you try to edit your shots, to keep up with your round, the app starts flashing and bouncing screens worse than a flash mob at a disco!!

I play golf as a way to de-stress from work and have fun with friends but the last few rounds I have had to shut the system off mid round because I just couldn’t take its added stress anymore!! The other day I contemplated throwing my phone in the pond as I was that frustrated. I really hope they find a way to fix these issues as this could be a really great tool but we are not there yet. Good luck!

Hi J W Frank - I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the app. We aren't aware of any issues in the app similar to what you are describing. If possible, could you reach out to, so we can learn more about the issue, and try to debug the problem? Thanks in advance.

Played 4 rounds and I learn something new each time. Be patient and learn how the app functions.
First of all, I wear my iPhone on my belt clip with the microphone/speakers directed at ball. It has never missed a shot. Even tap in putts. It keeps perfect score and moves from hole to hole seamlessly. After round it is fairly easy to edit shots for accuracy of data. Fairways, putts off green, penalty shots etc.
The best hidden feature is the yardage tracking after each shot. Just swipe up from bottom and see how far you are from the last hit. Great for helping you find blind and wayward shots in rough, etc. If you want to take a practice shot during round, leave phone in your cart so it’s not recorded.
Easily see your club yardage averages and longest shots for each club.
I’m really looking forward to a season of accumulated data to tell me the facts of my golf game.

Good start, but too many issues

The idea is sound, but there are serious issues that have me on the edge of abandoning it. I've used it for 4-5 rounds so far.

The worst issue is that the app disables the use of wireless earbuds. I have earpods now, but I also used powerbeats 3 for one round. All audio output is diverted to phone speakers, EVEN THOUGH THE HEADPHONES ARE CONNECTED. I frankly can't believe Apple allowed the app into the store with this flaw. The play/pause function in the headphones works, but the audio only comes from the phone speakers.

Next, many strokes are not detected, especially putts. Putts are trivial to add or subtract, but regular strokes are not. The Editing function ballows you to edit the strokes on a hole, but it is poorly done. I am an iOS developer so I understand and can figure out a UI. This one is poor. One simple thing is that it prevents you from zooming in enough. This is a purely arbitrary and silly restriction.

Lastly, stats are not displayed well at all. There is not even a straightforward scorecard view of the round!!! The Golfshot app has a much better UI. The sensor functions paired with that app would be an almost ideal solution. I'm so close to going back to it. I actually spend more time editing each hole in Arccos than I do in entering my stats by hand in Golfshot.
