Archimedes Calculator

Archimedes is the graphing calculator reinvented for the 21st century. It’s much simpler yet more powerful, made with attention to the tiniest detail.

Archimedes is one of the first calculators to feature an inbuilt formula library. It’s as simple as picking a formula and filling in the variables. The answer is calculated automatically, and even units are fully supported.

Intersecting, integrating and finding derivatives should be intuitive and straightforward. Archimedes lets you interact directly with plots and makes it all as easy as dragging your fingers across the screen.

Archimedes is backed by a powerful mathematical engine. Equations are solved automatically and can be shown in both exact and numeric form, and even systems of equations are supported.

Customer Reviews

The best app I have ever downloaded.

Buy it, use it. Don't look back, it's amazing.

Simply Beautiful

Elegant, superbly designed, easy to use. Excellent for everything from basic math to engineering, physics, and advanced mathematics.

I've bought five different calculators for iOS and this was instantly my favorite. Free to try, but worth the buy.

Trigonometric functions are broken

Be warned if using this for academic or professional applications. The trigonometric functions do not output correct values regardless of use with degrees vs radians. This calculator states sin(140deg) = 0.681807 where google and my TI-83 state that sin(140deg) = 0.642788. This can result in very significant percent errors if using trig functions for intensive calculations. Also this calculator states sin(pi/2)=sin(90deg)=0.999439which should be 1.0
