Odd...but oddly compelling.
This is a weird game. If you have ever played Warioware:Smooth Moves, you will know what I mean by weird. But just like that Wii classic, this game draws you in. Set in a bizarre world inhabited by strange 8-bit beasties, you quest through the land, beating mini games and collecting items to deliver to the beasties. It's an engaging, creepy game that would have been right at home on the original 8-bit NES. It is well conceived and fleshed out. Some of the dialogue is even funny. I haven't quite figured out the "battling someone's brain" element, but it is easy to accomplish and the real fun comes in exploring this surreal little world. If you like mini games strung together in an RPG-like way, and you like the 8-bit aesthetic, try this game out.
Sudden Crash upon opening
I have been playing this and loving it for awhile but today when I went to open the game I just get a black screen crash. I am running the latest version of iOS 9 on an iPad mini 2. ( I was running the same iOS when I bought the game) This game worked for so long and now this I'm so sad :(
I love this game!
This game is really fun!! It is zelda-ish in that little quests and items build on each other. It is also sorta like ummmm chocobo tales in that it is full of mini games! I have really enjoyed it. i play a ton of iphone games and i dont take the time to write a glowing review often. This is a little gem : ) enjoy!!!
