HOW TO USE ARRO.
Order a ride from your smartphone. Set your pickup location and your ride is on the way. When the ride is over, no need to swipe a card in the taxi or fumble for cash - the fare is paid automatically from the card you have registered for payment in the app, so you can just get out and go! If you are in a taxi with a rear-seat screen and you've ordered or hailed your ride without our app, you can use Arro for fast payment. Simply tap the PAY button, enter the 7-digit check-in code displayed at the top of the screen to pair. When the trip ends, you can get out of the vehicle without doing anything further. Your ride will be paid automatically at the end of the trip.
What's New in Version 5.9.18
- Fare estimates. Now you can find out what your trip is likely to cost before you take it. Just enter your destination in the app and voila! (beta)
- Arro is live in London! Now you can hail iconic black taxis anywhere in the city and your driver will be there in a flash.
Doesn’t send receipts as attachment like other apps
As far as I can tell this app works as it should, although it’s had issues locating my pickup location correctly. Unlike the Curb app, this app emails you a receipt (as an email) but if you need a PDF or other type of attachment for business expenses, your stuck creating that yourself. Curb emails you and includes the receipt as a PDF. This app allows you to update your email address in the app. Curb requires you email customer service. Otherwise to me hey are the same.
Not too shabby
Definitely not a bad app. It’s pretty neat and does the job. Only downfall is that when you put in your destination, it does not tell the driver and you have to end up repeating where you’re going after you’ve already listed it in the app.
If you Don’t use the app every day, the next time you try to use it to get a message that your session has expired, and it asks you to re-sign up. Who wants to bother to do that while they’re sitting in the back of the back of a bumpy taxi?Who wants to keep doing that even if you’re not?
