● Logo for a new business venture
● Web graphics for a client's site

Work with Vector Graphics
The library of 28 vector icons (600 in full version) and shapes gives you a full palette for designing a company logo or graphic for the web. You can also import vector artwork in EPS format or use the powerful Vector Editor to create shapes from scratch.
Materials, Textures, and Fills
You can give design elements any look you want in Art Text Lite. The collection of 40 materials (250 in full version) give objects a realistic metal, glass, or plastic look that can easily be customized using the super easy parameters or the advanced Material Editor (in full version only).
A texture is basically an image file that you can use to fill a shape or text, and Art Text Lite comes with 190 of them. The full version allows you to import your favorite images in widespread formats. This can be a great way to frame and add fun captions to beloved photos.
Art Text Lite can also give letters and objects a radial or linear gradient fill with up to three colors. Add a gradient, stroke, and shadow to text to get some striking typography.
Bend and Warp Text
Bring text to life using 20 adjustable vector transformations (full version contains 4 additional transformations based on Bezier splines). Wrap text around objects or just give it a unique look that stands out.

Good Little App, Gets The Job Done
I’m a Graphic Designer, I own and use Adobe products, nearly every day, but that is changing. I’m always looking for ways to do simple things more quickly and Art Text 2 Lite has been very handy in my toolkit for the past couple of years. It’s pretty powerful for being free and may take a bit of time to learn, but I’ve used it for a variety of things. I’ve created a header for a friend to use with a web design app, a couple of logotypes, quick headlines for some flyers in Pages, and titles for an iMovie project. It has a decent compliment of tools and palettes, there are standard pixel-based image export options, and the ability to use layers is terrific! While it doesn’t give me all the access I’d like for some of its features, what it does, it does well. I’ve considered purchasing the full version, but for now I’m good with being able to get some things done quickly and easily with this version.
I like it. Buying the paid version.
I needed a simple-to use logo program to make “word” logos. I found it flexible and easy-to-use. I like the color and texture options. I can even control the tightness of letter spacing—somthng my old Windows-based logo program wouldn’t do. I’m about to buy the paid version so that I can upload to the program. I’m very happy with it, and I certainly haven’t been able to say that about everything in the Apple App store!
Very Nice (but I’m an amateur)
Getting the limited version is a BANG in my limited experience, but what a bang. My only problem is working the “geometry”. It uses a slide scale and I want to make prints at certain angles, so I need to know the degrees of the shapes I’m designing - a slide scale won’t tell me that and I’m stuck using a paper cut-out in the angle I need, and hold it against the screen, to know that I’ve drawn it to the slant I want to print.
