Make the most out of your Ashtanga Yoga practice!

This App can be used to track your progress in Ashtanga Yoga. You can track the following the following data:

⁃ Date and Time
⁃ Duration
⁃ How focused was your practice?
⁃ How (physically) intense was your practice?

Moreover, you can enter comments on your practice.

All data will be summarized in different beautiful charts - thus, you can track your progress in Yoga.

Optionally, the app can make use of the HealthKit-Framework to track your calories burned during your practice (please not that this is an option and not needed for the functionality).

If you are registered at www.ashtangayoga.info, you can also synchronize your practice with the Ashtanga diary there. This site is also a great place to find out more about Ashtanga Yoga.

Waste

Please don't waste your money. The app needs major improvements. Very confusing, difficult to view, tracking becomes a hassle. I hope the developers will improve, the concept is there just needs major redesign to be user friendly and more intuitive.

Well ... it's probably always the case that when you write an app, that some people won't like it. Instead of writing a bad review, maybe it would have been a better way to write me directly?

This is still lacking features, for example you can't add rest days, moon days and ladies holidays.

It's been some time since version 1.1, but thank you very much for your feedback. I added (some versions ago, in fact) the possibility to add different kinds of days where you did not practice.

Great! (Updated review below)

Just started using this about a month ago and it's kinda neat to track my practice. Only complaint is when using the slide bar at the bottom of the practice summary it always crashes, and it's not very precise. It would be better to just have different preloaded views, ex. day, week, month, year, and eliminate the slide bar all together.

Update 5/25/17: Got a friendly response from the developer and some updates were made. Much appreciated! I like that there are other activities available and that it now splits certain days. Slide bar works! Maybe add one more tab for the "could not practice because..."? :) Love this app, I use it everyday!

1/17/18: Still loving this app! I can’t figure out how to use the upload feature from the website. It’s not that important since I obviously don’t use it, but just curious as to how it functions. Also, I would LOVE to see the new moon implemented into the calendar. So like an open circle for new and a closed circle for full, that way I don’t have to google it to double check. Other than that, I enjoy using this app and still use it daily!

Hey again, thank you for the update! Getting the app to sync with the website can be a little bit tricky (for the setup) - just send me an eMail if you ever would like to test it (see "Help" for contact information). Also, the calendar should already show new moon - but I'll check up on this.
