Buggy, Crashy on AppleTV
Overall, this game is a great time waster with fun cars. With the most recent update, many of the connection issues for multiplayer were corrected (wouldn't get to 'start race'), however there are still frequent, very frustrating bugs when doing events like their endure double down, which require one to complete several races in series. The problem is that the game crashes and you lose all progress. Sometimes the game crashes before the race starts, sometimes during. It also crashes regularly during multiplayer races, which is more frustrating now that you only get a certain number of chances to improve your rank.
Clearly the developer has structured the game to get one to spend real money in-game, but I wouldn't recommend doing so unless they can deliver a more bug-free experience. Occasional crashes I can get over, but these are far too frequent and indicate quality control issues that need to be addressed if you want folks to spend money.
Great game - terrible user experience
Let me say, this is a fun game. Lots of great cars, fun challenges, etc. You probably need to spend some money to get the top line cars; however I have been played by for quite some time and never spent a dime, you can get some great cars if you just have patience and work to earn some funds. However, I am completely frustrated as of today, this is the Thur time, if not more, I have spent credits and/or coins for an upgrade, and the program screws me out of them, doesn't give the upgrade provided. I'd guess I have spent over 1,000 coins and $500k in credits, haven't received benefit. I would really like a credit back for these. So, fun game, spend money if you want to progress quickly, but you don't have to if you have patience.
Great game
This is a really fun racing game. Sometimes I wish there was more special events, but they have added a daily race which is nice. I wish the events would be more varied, like total number of flat spins, etc. I have played more time then I want to admit but they keep updating it to keep it fun. They did update the R&D so in principle you can get a car that way without being an expert. However, be ready to spend quite a bit of game money to get the car upgraded.
Multiplayer is tricky. If I have a car rated 1000, I can be beat by a car with only 900, even if I race perfect. Not sure why that is. Maybe it motivates people to get the new cars.
