New App Is Better But
The new updated app is better than the old one but it still lacks basic features I find on my other financial apps. The instant balance is a nice feature but it is as many steps to get to as actually logging into the app with finger ID so I find it useless. When I forget to log out upon exit I then receive and error message when I go back into the app next time that I MUST click OK on to get past - I do not care that I exited out improperly the app did its job and timed out my session please just let me log back in. I have not compared to online but the new app tracks transactions different than the old app - I have transactions that are shown as completed only to log in a day or two later and they are back to pending and debit transactions seem to take 3-5 days to clear where in the past it was by the next day. Basically it’s the old app with a facelift and fingerprint ID log in added.
So now since the update a couple of weeks ago when I log out and wait for it to go back to the log in / instant balance screen and then close totally out of the app and then I go back in the next time it tells me that my session has timed out due to inactivity - what what? I LOGGED OUT PROPERLY!!
Good app, but no credit card transactions
For a regional bank, Associated Bank has done a good job building a app to rival the deep-pocketed big banks. One complaint I have is that my AB credit card doesn’t show transactions. It always says that there are no transactions for the selected range; however, there is no option to select a date range. This is not true of the standard checking and savings accounts. Perhaps I need to login on the website and make a change there for the credit card, but I did not have to do this for the savings or checking accounts.
Still doesn’t work on my iPhone SE
I’ve had to log in through the regular website (which is pretty time consuming when I just need a quick peek at my account) because it’s not compatible with the iPhone SE. When will that be fixed? I’ll give it 5 stars once I can access it through my phone.
I was able to get logged in on my iPad and I was super happy to see a built in calculator which I had suggested a few years back. Looks like some great upgrades but unfortunately I can’t take advantage of them on my iPhone SE. ☹️☹️☹️
