You must have an AT&T Phone (digital phone) or an AT&T Unified Messaging℠ account in order to use this app. Voicemail-to-text is included with Voicemail Viewer for residential accounts. Residential customers can order AT&T Phone or Unified Messaging by calling 1.800.288.2020 or by visiting att.com. The AT&T VM Viewer app makes it easier to stay on top of your digital Voicemail or Unified Messaging voicemail messages directly from your iOS device. Similar to looking at messages in your email inbox, VM Viewer lists your messages, allowing you to choose the order in which you listen to them. For more information, visit our web site at att.com/vmviewer. If you are a digital Voicemail or an AT&T Unified Messaging customer and are experiencing difficulty logging in to this app, please contact us at 800.288.2020 (digital Voicemail) or 888.300.6500 (Unified Messaging) and be prepared to provide your wireline phone number associated with your mailbox, the device you are using to access the app and the problem that you are experiencing.
What's New in Version 1.9.0
I read all the reviews 🤦🏻♂️. I'm guessing some are not tech savvy. App works perfect for me without all the BS bells and whistles. Easy download, sign in. Does not show missed calls which I personally like. Just voicemail. Just the facts. So far so good. Same goes for AT&T mobile remote app. That works perfect so far too. As you can see I just changed to AT&T full service bundle and trying everything for a test drive.
Really, I do want to try this app. I really do. I have new AT&T service, and I am longing to go back to TWC. That says a lot.
It's cable TV, internet and telephone. It shouldn't be that hard to configure. The apps should just work, and they don't. Since I am in the window of canceling my service and returning to TWC, I just might. AT&T hasn't figured out how to be cable TV or even telephone providers, yet.
Time to get rid of bloated middle management and bring back programming if apps from off-shore developers. Heck, I might fire the Product Manager, too!
This app is horrible. We are forced to change over to Unified Messaging for our voice mailboxes. If we set up sub-mailboxes and use the app, once you log into one of those sub-mailboxes there is no way to change to a different sub or to the main mailbox. I would think a company like AT&T would have thought of this. Makes me think about discontinuing our phone service all together.
