ATH Móvil 4+

The app was already flaky to begin with. Sometimes it would log me in, sometimes it wouldn’t. Then today I noticed that it checks my Face ID but continues to display a loading spinner before finally showing a pop-up that says “No Internet Connection”. This magically goes away if I disable my VPN. When I try to access App Support through this app store page, I get a “Sorry, you have been blocked” message from Cloudflare. Again, VPN. Blocking VPN users is ineffective and ridiculous. My US-based bank (much larger than any PR bank or coop that uses ATH Móvil) doesn’t mind that I use a VPN to access their app. My employer, a defense contractor, doesn’t mind that I use a VPN when I authenticate to their network. The people who know far more about network security, and who have far more to lose in the case of a security breach, let me use a VPN. I’m sick of local companies thinking they’re so special that they have to implement lazy and borderline useless “security processes” (like disallowing VPNs) that actually REDUCE my security.

Constantly getting an error “ATH Movil Not Found”. Most times, to solve it, I have to delete and download the app. This is extremely annoying specially if you are trying to pay a business and the cashier is waiting for your payment.

As mentioned bu another reviewer, we also have the security questions. I entered the correct values and all of its variations and it never worked. Why do I have 3 security questions If I only get asked the same one. On top of that if I try to recover the account without my card next to me all cards get the activated. This is extremely stupid. PayPal doesn’t make reconfirm your bank account if you have to reset your password. Well, I actually entered the password and pin correctly but this still happened.

After updating the app to version 3.1.1 it keeps displaying the password is incorrect. It only let me login on the app after unblocking the account. But when logout and try to login again, will continue displaying password incorrect even after been sure of entering the correct password. The account gets blocked after several attempts. I'm benig careful to type password correctly. If I login in on a computer with a browser, after restablishing the password, no problem.

Version 5.3.0 is now working and accepting the password. Thank you for making it work back again. I rank this version 4 stars.

Since April 2021 the app keep giving a message that need to be upgraded but they appear to drop the support for iOS 10.4 and the web link is not accessible anymore. Disappointed.
