If you enjoyed Stoneloops, get this.
I am a big fan of stoneloops. It is still on my phone long after I beat it on both modes and earned all trophies. Got this game today and I am at level 65 and have 14 of 15 achievements. This game is much easier then stoneloops was as destroying the puzzles early on can rapidly end a level. The puzzles do get stronger, become obstructed etc as the levels progress but the urgency of "maybe I will lose" just isn't there like it was on Stoneloops. The game does lag quite a bit on my 3G and has crashed 4 times in about 3 hours of play. The story is a little weak but these games don't need stories anyway. Better explanation of each power up would be nice. I reccomend spending all your $ on upgrading the last of the perks. The one that slows the next wave. Overall it's worth a buck and I give it a thumbs up.
Beat game in a little over 2 days playing here and there. Got all achievements. The game is much easier then Stoneloops. Maybe I'll give Luxor a try now. I did encounter one issue that bothered me in this game. I swap colors with my 2nd finger but some game saves defaulted back to shake. I don't even see how shaking would be practical for a game like this.
One of the first iPhone games I
I have about 11 gigabytes of apps, 90% of which are games I get free, and this is included. I have to say, this game was very addicting, and also very difficult towards the end. I got a little frustrated sometimes when the thing would give me purple when the only purple on the screen was obscured from being shot for the next several seconds. Still, it held my attention and was very fun, so five stars for this little gem.
Doesn't get much better than this...
Wow. I am really blown away. I've never really been a big fan of these marble shooting games, but with a price of $0.99, I just could not pass this up. Cool graphics, combined with nice effects and a good soundtrack make this game one of the best on the App Store. In addition, there's 110 or so levels! Hours of gameplay! Great work, Big Fish, and I hope Luxor doesn't try some underhanded crap on you for this game like they did with Stoneloops.
