Audiobook Builder makes it easy to turn your audio CDs and files into audiobooks for your iPhone, iPod or iPad. Join audio, create enhanced chapter stops, adjust quality settings and let Audiobook Builder handle the rest. When it finishes you get one or a few audiobook tracks in iTunes instead of hundreds or even thousands of music tracks!

What's New in Version 1.5.6

• Ready for macOS 10.12 Sierra •

• Disables App Nap when adding files, importing CDs, and building your audiobooks so Audiobook Builder doesn’t appear to stall.

Creating Audiobooks … for iPhones and no more tickets

So short story long. Got a couple of tickets and after having to pay the lawyers twice for simple idiotic moves. One asked me. What exactly are you doing behind the wheel? I can only say driving and listening to music. So when a great fast song comes along you speed? No but I will go fast and not notice little signs like “No turn on Red”.
Solution Audiobooks. Now I tend to stay on the car longer even after I arrive at the location. Turns out you can drive calmly and easily if you are not in a hurry. I enjoy my drives. Yes, it works. Try it.
So here comes Audiobook Builder. Pefect for my needs. I can throw mp3 files or rip a CD and create an audiobook. I can then get really creative and make great looking chapters on the Audiobook. They look really cool in the car entertainment screen. Once I started listening to books, zero tickets.

This is my go-to app for building audiobooks!

I have been using Audiobook Builder for several years now. It has saved me a lot of money by allowing me to create audiobooks from audio CD rather than buying them pre-made. I have found it works best for me if I don’t do anything else while ripping CD tracks in apple lossless format, then build the audiobook from them. Otherwise, I occasionally would get skips and noise in my book due to using my mac for other projects at the same time as the rip & build. I really love the way this app preserves all the track titles (if present) as chapters, letting me see where I am when listening, and making it easy to relocate a passage. In concert with this app, I use the MP3 Audiobook Player app. I’m delighted with this app!

Solid Audiobook building app

This is a great little audiobook application that makes it the process of making chapterized .m4b files simple and streamlined. It works well with little to no learning curve. Worth the money.

Feedback to the developers: This is a really small thing, but don’t you think it’s time to update the iTunes symbol on the chapters tab? It’s two symbols behind. Also, the screenshots that show the app are on a machine with a Snow Leopard background and show an even earlier version of the iTunes symbol on the chapters page. Update your screenshots and show your customers you’re up with the times!
