Audiobook Builder makes it easy to turn your audio CDs and files into audiobooks for your iPhone, iPod or iPad. Join audio, create enhanced chapter stops, adjust quality settings and let Audiobook Builder handle the rest. When it finishes you get one or a few audiobook tracks in iTunes instead of hundreds or even thousands of music tracks!
What's New in Version 1.5.7
• Resolves a potential situation where CDs may not be ejected after importing
• Uses far less memory when adding from iTunes so more tracks can be added at the same time
• New application and document icons for better compatibility with macOS 10.12 Sierra
• Minor user interface fixes and enhancements
I love this program and have used it for more than ten years. I walk for exercise, and thanks to Audiobook Builder, I can listen to book after book whille I’m walking, keeping my mind occupied in a great way so that I can walk even further. What a happy dog I have! ABB has always worked great for me, in conjunction with whatever iPod or now, iPhone, I have. I don’t have time to sit and read a book; but now I can keep up what others are reading because of this app. Also, I can borrow the books on CD from my local library, which carries a much larger collection of books on CD than I would have imagined. That makes my listening to books free, once I purchased this app. Thank you Splasm!!
I have used this app to create tons of audiobooks. The interface is extremely user friendly and its a joy to use. Lots of options for how you want your audiobook to be built and its fast puting everything together once you decide.
I use this app mostly to convert audiobooks that I have previously uploaded to iTunes from MP3 to M4B(A), add artwork, merge the chapters and whatnot. I wish there was an option to delete the original files once the conversion is complete. It might exist, I just havent found it.
Either way, completely worth my money. I tried other free apps to do the same thing and they just didn't work. This is definitely the way to go!
This makes my life easier!
I love listening to audiobooks while driving, walking, or working around the house. I use Audiobook Builder on my desktop to import all the cds into one file, then Audiobook Builder turns the whole book into one file and puts it in my iTunes in the audiobook section, then I transfer it to my iPod (or your phone) take it with me in the car and listen through my car stereo. No switching cds while driving, no cds even in the car. The iPod (or phone) remembers where you left off and starts right there the next time. It is the best, most used app I have ever bought!
