What the press are saying:

Evolver.fm/Gizmodo: ‟Audiobus will let you play the drum sounds you like in one app and record them in another app, all while keeping the drums in time. Or it could let you play your actual guitar through one app to apply an effect and output it in the sampler of another app.”

Music Radar: ‟It's what so many iOS music makers want: to be able to use multiple apps at the same time, mixing together the audio from each of them into a single project.”

Create Digital Music: ‟[Audiobus] finally helps you make sense of your collection of apps. They make each other more powerful, rather than just crowding space on the app screen and competing with one another.”

Customer Reviews

Sorry Not an update

Not a happy customer. I've purchased this as well as it's IAP & remote. Audiobus 3 First: You could have offered a discount like Auria has for example or maybe used this "update" which was merely an advertisement, as a announcement to exiting users they could get Audiobus 3 for 24 hours at a discount whatever. Just an example

Second: I understand this is a business and you guys are great at what you do. I have no issues in investing money in new audio tools especially from a company with such a strong record but if you want loyal customers to feel comfortable purchasing future IAP's, other apps, maybe Audiobus 4, 5 etc you need in my opinion retention through reliability and customer appreciation or your just going to phase your self out.

Seriously???

I downloaded AudioBus 3 years ago and have used it in my classroom to bridge a lot of apps and create some great stuff. I forked over the money for it then but in recent months the app has been glitchy, not working with all the apps it used to work with, crashing... and now you want to charge me another $10???? The quality of the current app is not high enough for me to put any money forth, much less essentially re-buying an app I have already purchased. You need to offer a grace period or a discount to current customers. Everyone needs to make a living but this is not a fair way to do it from a customer standpoint.

"If it's not broken, don't fix it."

Words the developers of this iOS app have never heard, apparently. Or maybe they have, and they just didn't care because why worry about upsetting your customers if you can make an "update" into a different app called, "Audiobus 3"?

Basically, if you've been a long-time user of this developer's software and a loyal customer, you are being punished for that. We are expected to pay $10 extra for Audiobus 3 aka, "An updated Audiobus 2 app that works like Audiobus 2...until the developers nerfed it just to force customers to pay for version 3."

Shame. Shame. Shame. It was a good thing while it lasted I guess. Time to look elsewhere, fellow musicians & audiophiles...
