Open up new worlds of creative music making possibilities with Audiobus, the app that lets you use your music apps together, just like virtual cables.
Send live audio or MIDI from one Audiobus-compatible app or Audio Unit to another: add effects on top of your favourite synth, use your favourite step sequencer to drive the whole lot, and record it all in your favourite DAW, sampler or looper. Plug in a MIDI keyboard, run it through an arpeggiator or a key quantizer, and record the result in your DAW, or drive several different sound generators with a keyboard splitter. The possibilities are endless.
Then save your setup in a preset to be restored with one touch later on.
With a completely new MIDI routing system, support for Apple's new Audio Unit Extensions standard, a new built-in mixer, and huge new workflow improvements, Audiobus 3 represents a big step forward for mobile music making.

iOS music sooo much easier and fun!
Anyone who works seriously with iOS music runs into the frustrations of trying to make things work together. Apple has tossed Inter-App Audio and Audio Units v3 out there with really no cohesive strategy for making it easy to use more than one app together.
Audiobus was the original solution for enabling music apps to work together. It fell a little bit behind the curve with the introduction of AUv3 apps that can send midi. But now that’s all addressed - and elegantly so! With the wonderful abilities of the Audiobus task bar to start and stop apps, switch between them, and save your setups to return to exactly where you left off (for most apps), it’s just so much more intuitive and fun to start up jam sessions and return to them.
Audiobus 3 is now literally the best, most fun, and practical enabler for my music making needs! I start every session with it now, and that with a smile on my face!
A must have for all iOS musicians
If you own a couple of music apps that support Audiobus and especially if you own a few Audio Unit intruments or effects, you are doing yourself a big disfavor if you don't own this app yet.
It puts all the pieces of the audio routing puzzle together and lets everything jive together as a perfect matching ensemble. And version 3.1 takes it even a step further with the great new workflow improvements.
I started out with Audiobus years ago but at some point when AUM got released I moved away from Audiobus. However with version 3.1.1 and the improved and very solid support for Audio Units it has drawn me back into the Audiobus camp and feels like returning home. Thanks to the developer's fantastic support it also fixed a couple of technical issues i was having and everything now plays like a dream.
Highly recommended app. Get it now if you don't own it yet!
Full five star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and both thumbs up 👍👍
The best music making utility app on iOS
AudioBus is the glue for all my music making apps. Sure there are other ways to route audio and midi around but AB is still the best and most useful for me. Audio and effects routing is simple and the ease of use of the midi side is fantastic. Coupled with the midiflow apps it’s actually fun to route to midi to hardware and software on iOS which ordinarily can be painful.
As iOS has advanced, AudioBus had been right there, helping to lead the way.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
