Aunt Bertha is a search engine for social services. It has already been used by more than 1 million people across the United States - many of them health care and social work professionals just like you.
From food pantries to clothes for work, the Aunt Bertha program database provides instant access to comprehensive, localized listings. It makes finding programs a more efficient, effective process for your staff and those you serve. It also allows you to refer people in need directly to programs that can help them.
This is a minor update recommended for all users.
- Updated to support the latest versions of iOS
- Converted to a universal app to add iPad support
- We fixed a bug that caused an incorrect popup message after clicking any link

I share this with someone daily
I pull up the app all the time to show people at church, those dealing with a family member who is sick, and teachers dealing with troubled students how they can find help for those they work with. I love that it is nationwide.
I love Aunt Bertha!! This app makes it so easy to find services in my area. Amazing for professional helpers, if you have a friend in need, or if you’re struggling yourself. I’m really glad they fixed the pop up bug, so the app is usable now! Yay!
Information is good, but it's buggy
As a social worker I was excited to test out this app. The information is pretty good, but every time I search for a program I get a prompt asking if I'm sure I want to leave the application. It was very frustrating, so I won't be using this app until that's fixed.
Developer Response ,
Susan. We just wanted to let you know that our most recent 1.1 release has fixed that popup prompt issue.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
