To get started with Mobile Banking:
STEP ONE: Enroll in Austin Bank Online Banking at www.austinbank.com . If you are already enrolled proceed to STEP TWO below.
STEP TWO: Download and install Austin Bank app. This app is available through the application store for your iPhone.
STEP THREE: Sign in to Austin Bank Mobile Banking using your Online Banking username. Make sure your security image and phrase are correct before entering your Online Banking password.
OPTIONAL: Once enrolled in Mobile Banking visit the Users Option tab in Online Banking to manage your Mobile Banking Profile. This feature will allow you to:
•add additional phones
•change your phone number
•select or unselect accounts to see in Mobile Banking
•assign Nicknames for accounts to be used in Text Messaging
•set a different time zone

It’s hit or miss...mostly miss.
Touch ID does not work 9 outta 10 times. Instant balance always shows technical difficulties. Can’t log in on my phone so I’m at the computer and forgot my password, or so it says, sent a request about 10 minutes ago and still no temp password in my email. I would love to have deposits available on my mobile, assuming I can ever get in. I have other banking apps, even a small town bank and those work beautifully! Austin Bank, please invest a little money in a useful and reliable mobile app!!!
The app is super convenient, and saves time from going to the bank, or calling and being on hold for 5-30 minutes. But every other month or so it logs me out and they have "technical difficulties" and I can't check my balance, transfer funds, etc. It's especially inconvenient on weekends!
At the drive through I saw where you are supposed to be able to deposit checks using app etc... this is not a technologically advanced app...as it was advertised.
