What's New in Version 6.0
Updated for the 2015 event
Good app, bad notifications
The app itself works great, as it always has, with current score updates, many features and plenty of information about players, matches, etc. Helpful to see what is happening and what has happened!
The notifications, however, leave a lot to be desired, which has been an issue in some previous years too. I received a few notifications on the day I set up the players I wanted to track, 2+ days ago, but nothing yesterday, and nothing today until I added a new player, and then I received an update on his match, but nothing else. I have gone in and turned off each player I want updates for, and then turned them back on, hoping that helps going forward, but getting the alerts shouldn't be that complicated.
If you can live with subpar alerts though, this app is the best for following this first slam of the year!
Working Just Fine on iPhone 6
Huge tennis fan who's watching the action on ESPN and just downloaded the app. It may say that it's optimized for iPhone 5 but it's working fine on my iPhone 6. Looked at the scores, schedule, draws, video and everything works and looks great!
Similar to 2014, this app has problem with player alerts via push notifications. I selected all my favorite players and no notifications of matches starting or scores. Yes, I gave my phone access.
Yes, you can look at ALL the results, but I like to only get notifications on about 30 players without combing thru all results. Other 3 major's apps worked better in past years than this one is now.
