Monitor your health whether you are trying to concieve, pregnant or just getting to know your body. While you’re sleeping, the Ava bracelet tracks key health parameters associated with varying levels of progesterone and estradiol throughout the menstrual cycle.
The Ava bracelet is a completely unprecedented method of tracking a woman’s cycle and health.
HOW AVA WORKS:
While you’re sleeping, Ava’s sensors collect data on key physiological parameters. The parameters are fed into our algorithm in order to determine your fertile window.
Other methods of fertility tracking rely on only a single parameter, and thus cannot provide a complete picture of your fertility in real time. Ava detects the very first signs that the fertile window is beginning, and confirms when it ends. Ava, in addition keeps tracking your data once you are pregnant and accompanies you on your journey.
WITH AVA YOU CAN:
+ See 5.3 fertile days per cycle in real time.
+ Track your temperature, resting pulse rate, sleep quality and quantity and physiological stress levels.
+ Gain insights about your menstrual cycle and discover patterns in your health over time with charts, graphs, and trend analysis.
+ Learn about changes in your body during pregnancy.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND AVA:
+ Ava has been shown to detect an average of 5.3 fertile days per cycle at 89% accuracy.
+ Ava was clinically tested in a year-long study at the University Hospital of Zurich under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Brigitte Leeners, the leading expert on the mathematical modeling of menstrual cycles.
+ Ava is an FDA registered device and CE certified.

Works well for temping and sleep tracking
While I really like the convenience of the Ava bracelet for temping and tracking sleep and stress, I am very skeptical of its accuracy in predicting fertile days. So I tested its accuracy by using two different brands of OPKs and the Ava bracelet simultaneously. I had two glasses on wine one night, and Ava moved my fertile window up by three days, and then claimed I ovulated two days later. However, both sets of OPKs showed LH surge a week later, and my temperature spike confirmed ovulation to be in line with my OPKs, NOT the Ava bracelet. I understand that alcohol can change your heart rate and breathing rate, but two glasses of wine hardly seems enough to throw everything out of whack like that. Apparently, Ava only works accurately if you abstain from the liquid libations completely. But I do love that I don’t even have to think about temping at the right time of morning, my temperature just syncs up when I take off the bracelet. And tracking my stress level has really encouraged me to make some changes at work to ensure I’m taking care of myself. For those reasons, I am happy with my purchase. But I will not be throwing out my OPKs anytime soon while we are still TTC.
I have had problems getting pregnant for 10 years. It took 2 years to get pregnant with my son and an additional 4 years to get my daughter. After a year of trying unsuccessfully, I decided to buy the bracelet. I compared the date it gave me for ovulation to the dates other apps gave me, and sure enough, they were different. Ava detected that I was ovulating later than projected, and 60 days after I ordered the bracelet, I got a positive pregnancy result. And even more surprising, it’s actually twins, which I know has nothing to do with the bracelet, but if Ava hadn’t predicted my cycle correctly, I wouldn’t be carrying these two right now. I have recommended Ava to all the women I know that struggle in anyway, or are planning on starting a family in coming years. It does all the work, you just have to wear it and sync it in the morning. Thank you Ava, for taking the stress away and for figuring out what was going on with my cycle. Maybe I’ll name one of the twins Ava 😉
Don’t waste your money!
This is the most expensive dupe I’ve had the pleasure of falling for. First of all it’s $250! That’s because they upgraded the strap to be more watch-like. Well guess what?! I can’t wear my strap because it gives me a rash. I’ve never had sensitive skin before. Strange. After emailing customer support, the suggestion I got was to pop the Ava sensor under a sweat band and wear it like that at night. Are you kidding me? I have to go and buy something else because your $100 silicone strap is irritating? I want my money back. But, there is no possible refund because this is a “medical device”, BS it’s just a way to keep my hard earned money. What a rip off! Not to mention I’ve been wearing this thing EVERY night for the past 7 months. Not ONCE has Ava predicted my ovulation correctly. (I am still using OPKs) In fact the only thing I can see that has been predicted correctly would be my current cycle day. This thing is a waste of your money. I bought it hoping it would relieve some stress while trying to conceive, but it has only increased it. Every morning I wake up, it’s a crap shoot on whether the app and the sync are going to work.
