Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
NOTE: Due to FAA changes we are unable to guarantee the app will maintain service for no charge. The FAA has decided to start charging users of their approach plates, and we will not be able to support giving the charts away for free to users. Check AirWX.com for updates. If you decide to purchase AvCharts please be aware that once the FAA implements the pricing changes we may NO LONGER be updating the charts.

What's New in Version 1.5
- Added AirPrint functionality. Now print all your charts and have a paper backup.
A little overpriced for a simple chart viewer, but easy to use and chart detail is sharp. Downloads are very slow, probably due to the charts not being compressed. Free charts are available from numerous sources, but this app makes everything convenient.
The ability to annotate the plates is a great teaching tool. That alone rates 5 stars. Add geo-referencing, and I'll give it 6 ;-) ...
Does the job
Works well, good display. Download times reasonable with decent connection. You can search approach plates by entering 3 letter code for airport, such as JFK. Not bad, I might like to see tabs by state then scroll to airport and approach as well.
