Ratings and Reviews

Read Closely

First off, no disrespect to the developer, but I think the word viewer should be put in the description. I saw the words full power of Access from your Mac. Do not jump to quick conclusions on this one. It appears as an Access style symbol, but the method of listing is a little confusing. I am new to databases and trying to learn more about them in school. Desperate to find a way to open databases on my computer and not knowing some of the key words has gotten me into trouble. The description should say Viewer, but they leave that part out unless you know exactly what you are looking at. If you read the intro and then see the compatilbility with Access you feel that you have finally found the tool you need. Well if this is you be careful. I just lost $10 on something that is useless to me, because I need an access substitute not a viewer and query runner. If you need a viewer, it will do the job, minus the fact of not supporting forms.

Developer Response

As you mention, we do not currently support forms, but the app should behave like Access in all other ways. Specifically, you should be able to run all your queries, insert, delete, and update rows, etc. The editing capabilities are a bit more intuitive in the latest release, so please do give it a try. Any if you have any problems at all, or if you would like a refund, please don't hesitate to contact us at

Opens MDB / ACCDB for Read / Export

I had an old MDB file that contatined 25k+ records that I needed to extract to import into a different database type for a client. This program opened the file up immediately, and you can browse / search each table in the database. You can also then extract / export to CSV or XLS - exactly what I needed it to do. This is not a full-fledged / MS Access program replacement (e.g. no manipulation of data, etc..), but if all you need is to get your data out of a file this does the trick!
