The ancient game of Go is still widely played in Japan, Korea and China. The simple rule set hides a game of enormous depth and strategic beauty, considered by many as being the ultimate thinking game.
Where Chess is highly analytical, Go depends on intuitive response to patterns and the capacity to trade advantages. The beginner can easily overplay a position or play too timidly - learning to play Go teaches fine judgment and complexity management.
A demo version of this product is under development and will be released in the upcoming months.

Best of the GO apps
This is by far the best GO app. I have bought all of them, and the UI, AI, and overall game experience is great. It is much more enjoyable than the others I have purchased. Very polished, the AI can be very strong or lowered for casual play. A cool magnifying glass comes up when your finger is held down for a short span of time and goes away when you let go. I just hope they put out a Shogi as polished and enjoyable as this app.
I have tried most of the go apps for the iPhone and this is the best overall. The gameplay is enjoyable with the magnifying glass and this also makes for accurate stone placement. Time in between moves is not too bad-you need to think before you play. I only wish there was a more difficult ai. I am a kgs 12 kyu player and on the highest difficulty setting I have to give the program a 4 stone handicap. That is my only complaint and overall it is a great program.
I was skeptical that a 19 x 19 board would ever work on such a little screen. It's great. Intuitive gameplay, great range of ai choices. The best go game for the iPod out there.
