Not as horrible as some of the reviews say it is...my opinion. It's easier if you use your thumbs instead of your fingers (like the instructions say)....especially if you have nails. If you do it their way, you can't see the circles below your fingers, and your nails get in the way. Also, my middle finger is much longer than my index finger. This makes it all too difficult to keep up.
I wish we could use our own music, but I don't know how possible that would be. Perhaps they could give us a mix to choose from...like classical.
I'd recommend it since it's free. It's not like it's a TOTAL waste of time and space. Besides, how else am I going to find out I stink? My white friends and family arent going to tell me I don't have a lick of rhythm in my entire body. Even my heart has a murmur. And it gets worse when I try to dance. Maybe it has something to do with my disproportionate fingers. All my family and friends THINK I have a beat. So, now I know...and now I can practice while some happenin black dude tells me I'm not good enough to roll around on a piece of cardboard. Yeah. THAT helps my self esteem.
Go ahead. Get it.
Even Better Than I Expected!
I purchased this game while it was on sale & it's totally worth more than it's original price. The music is fantastic from old hip hop and amazing beats that got me grooving. The graphics are prettyand there many locations. It took me a couple minutes to follow the game & got me furious a couple times until I finally got it going. Follow your steps and try tapping at the perfect moment for a higher score. There's easy and difficult options for you. You can always improve your score in each location. This game will keep you busy for a long time the gameplay is overall fun but so entertaining. Just but it, trust me..
Elite Beat Agents 2?!?
This game has easily, and very quickly, become one of my favorite games.
What drew me in so quickly was the simple touch screen "dancing" and the fun and unique songs. Plus, having a a song by an obscure-yet-cool group Optimus Rhyme doesn't hurt. The one area where I'd like to see more is in the list of tracks. But, with all of my music games that is a common comment I have.
If you put this game on the Nintendo DSi, with the upper screen showing a synchronized animation and with downloadable content, I'd be willing to pay $30 for a game like that. I know I paid $35 for Elite Beat Agents, and it's playlist isn't as solid as this game's!
One feature I would like to see would be the option to "import" some of my songs off of the iPod.
